No answer and not able to order online!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rude service! I came in to place an order and neither person at the register would even knowledge I was there. Finally someone from the back came up and asked if I wanted something. When I went back to pick up my pizza a guy tossed it on the counter and whispered something to me that I couldn't understand. I don't think they like people they don't already know. Very unfriendly and I don't recommend anyone to go there to eat even if the food is good.
When I tell you their veal parmigian is the best you've ever had; I am not exaggerating. It's the best. I live 30 miles from the restaurant and always stop when I get to Ormond.
Husband & I ate here for the 1st time. Food was truly Italian and delicious. Started off with the Mussels as an appetizer. Hubby really loved them. Next was soup & salad. Hubby really liked his Pasta Fagoli. My salad was quite good as well. Contained various lettuces not just iceberg lettuce! We then had pasta dishes. Mine was Eggplant Rotolini (sp?) and hubby's was a Roasted Pepper & Sausage Penne dish. The servings were large. Neither of us could quite finish but we still wanted to try dessert. So we split a Cannoli which my hubby said was the best he has had in many years! Highly recommend this place! Jasmine was our server & despite being swamped, she did a great job!
We were looking for a NY thin crust pizza. We read some reviews and are so happy we chose this place. We were visiting the area, not hard to find. It's in a small shopping center and is a rare gem. The staff was friendly, service great, Ithas about 5 tables inside, a few outside, and we knew we hit the jackpot because there was a steady stream of pick- ups and many deliveries. They serve homemade bread with olive oil while you wait. The large thin crust pizza had a crispy crust, but was chewy inside. The ingredients were fresh. My husband had a cup of the pasta/ bean soup that was like a big bowl! It was delicious. I had the homemade cheesecake: wonderful. Worth the drive from the DaytonA shores!
...."Do you want a plate for your bread?" - No we will just eat it off your filthy tablecloth. 45 minutes for meal to arrive. Veal was a sad little piece of cardboard, still partially frozen and the pasta severely overlooked. Had two bites and told the server it was inedible. She was happy to take it away but even more happy to leave it on our bill. The server tried to make it better by saying, with a nervous little laugh, - "don't you hate it when you think you are getting something good and it turns out that you don't". If Burger King made Veal Parm. It would be infinitely better than this sad affair. A shame to the Italian name - shame I say.
Without a doubt the best Italian food in the area! My husband's lasagna was amazing, and our pizza was out of this world! I wish they delivered to Port Orange, but they don't, so it's well worth the drive for us! They were so friendly too, having never seen us before, they met every need and then some! We'll go back, for sure!
We are sooooo happy to have an amazing italian restaurant / pizzeria here at Halifax Plantation! We absolutely needed a great restaurant here…AND they deliver….Almost embarrassed because we are there almost every day….they must think I never cook:-) The staff is incredible and they even helped cater my daughters graduation party. If you haven't been here yet then you are really missing out! If you are from NY/NJ then you will feel like you are back home at a real great pizzeria!!! Cheers to Gina and her staff!!!!
will never go there again, the ownerwas themost ignorant person I have run across inalong time,we actually witnessed him throw a pizza across the kitchen and yellat his cook very loudly, several people in the dining room commented on the bad PR,treated the waitresses like dirt, I will never patrinize a place that treats there employees so bad
We enjoyed our two visits for dinner. I had gnocchi and now I know where to go and enjoy it. My wife raved about the salad that had roasted red peppers. Our daughters loved the fresh pizza. When in town we will become regulars. d
