Working for Dennis Baird is a soul crunching endeavor. He is a rotten man who lies to his customers and abuses his employees. He has demonstrated countless times that he has absolutely no reguard for people's clothes or belongings. He once yelled at me for a clothing item not being bagged, but was not phased when a pen in a pocket ruined customers clothes. He is a fake who cares about all of the wrong things. He prefers to work with the philosophy of: Do everything super fast and "clean up" the messes you make after. If you are an employee that actually tries to take the time to do things right, he will torment you, yell at you, tell you that you do insignificant work, and treat you like you are the dumbest person he has ever met. He told me once he goes to church every Sunday, I don't think that is going to do it for you soul Mr. Baird.
The owner has complete disregard for his employees, and customers. DENNIS, is his name. His carelessness to properly condition his machines(to save money) has put one of his employees in the hospital. Dennis refused to do workers compensation for her, and still does. Not only this but he harasses and Bullies his employees, and he lies to his customers. This person needs to get what's coming to him.
VERY poor customer service. The owner accused me of trying to scam the company because the receipt showed that someone had picked up my clothes, when in reality nobody picked them up. The owner finally went and looked where they would be if the computer was wrong and there they were.
The owner was extremely RUDE, CONDESCENDING, and UNPLEASANT.
He wasted more than 1 1/2 hours of my time. DON'T give your business to this company. Take your business to another dry cleaners. There are obviously some serious internal problems with this one!
I took an expensive, custom tailored shirt here to be cleaned, and they lost my shirt! It had my initials monogrammed into the fabric, so it should be easy to match the shirt to the owner, but it is nowhere to be found. I have tried but not been successful in my attempts to contact the owner. I was told by the employees that I would not be reimbursed for my custom tailored shirt, but that I should buy a shirt from Costco and I would be reimbursed for a that, but not for the original shirt, which was very expensive and had only been worn once. Do NOT take your nice clothes here, they will not be there when you go to pick them up!
Been a long time customer of Bairds and everything's been great for years. Simply logged in to see what their Saturday hours were and couldn't help but notice the nearly impossible odds that found nothing but one star ratings from anonymous user names and just felt like I should throw Bairds a bone since it's clear someone is trying to slander them. The drive through is so convenient and they get ring around the collar out of everything. I don't know who the owner is but I assume it's the older gentleman I see there from time to time. He's always been totally kind and quite normal. It's just dry cleaning folks. I can understand a negative experience from time to time. But surely that would be balance out by at least some people who had a decent experience. It's the sabatoge by someone or a competitor that I disagree with. We all know what's going on here.
I had a VERY bad experience of Baird Drive in Cleaners . I brought my coat to Baird's for dry cleaning and they are not taking care of it. When I picked it up the coat is still dirty and all of the bottom got melted. All they said they are not gonna fix it for me and I have to buy the button myself. I HATE THEIR SERVICE. I cursed this company and SUPER HATE IT. Not worth a star to be honest.
Terrible terrible terrible. This company is beyond horrible. It stems from the owner who treats customer like absolute crap and his staff, I witnessed it and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ruins clothes and treats customers like dirt when they do. BE WARNED MR BAIRD IS NOT A GOOD BUSINESS OWNER, not honest, not fair to his loyal customers let alone any customers. BE WARNED.... Highly NOT RECOMMENDED.
Brought my wife's wedding dress in. got the stains out but new ones miraculously appeared and the dress was wrinkled. My wife is wearing her dress for our wedding reception for relatives in Utah who couldn't make it to our wedding in Texas.the OWNER did NOTHING to rectify the problem. This was on a Friday night and we needed the dress by Saturday afternoon. He said he would help us on Monday but we ate from Texas and are going home on Saturday. This was told to him at least 30 times. He refused to give us a refund without seeing the dress but he was"out of town" after arguing with my mother in law for about 20 minutes over the phone he finally said "tell her to grin and suck it up" referring to my wife wearing her dress again for our reception, and then hung up. THE OWNER!!!!
If I did not feel as strongly as I do about the TERRIBLE SERVICE at this business I would not have bothered registering on this site. I took shirts in to be laundered, when I went to pick them up they had dry-cleaned them at about three times the cost. The owner MR. BAIRD did call me back and used such horrid language to me, that I have yet to this day repeated the abusive words he used with me to my husband. I am afraid that the police would have had to be called if I did. The shirts smelled of cleaning fluid and had to be taken to another cleaners to HAVE THEM WASHED AND IRONED. There was a language problem with his employees and he told me that his employees are always right. I WILL NEVER USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN. I see that Lonnie's Cleaners is also owned by the BAIRD'S. Do not use them either. The Baird's seem to have gotten customer service backwards, it is THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT not THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG.

Last year 2007 I took my 12 piece's of clothing into bairds dry cleaning which is close to my work. When I went to pick it up a week later, they handed me only 11 peices. When I took a closer look there was a very expensive jacket missing. I asked the worker to talk to the manager to find my jacket. I gave them two phone numbers and no one ever called me back. One week later I stoped by again because no one called me. Luckly when I went the owner was there, and he told me he never got my message. He said he had never lost anybody's clothes before. He said to give me a couple of days and he will call me to if he found my suit coat. I never got a call, I kept calling but I could never get a hold of the owner. I had to waste a lot of time. I was so stressed, that I went to the store and I called the police. The employee said that he never returns anybodies calls, and he always try's to blame the customer. Finally the police had to call him and have him call me. He then finally payed for the jacket. I was so upset that I had to go through this long process, but I wasn't going to let him get away with it. BEWARE!!! terrable service

While it is unfortunate clothing is sometimes damaged, it happens probably at any dry cleaning place. However, the unprofessional manner in response to an incident which occurred with dry cleaning a dress at this establishment was frightening. After calling in with my concern, I was asked to come back in. However, not only was there no offer for resolution, the owner actually berated me in front of his staff and other customers and scolded me for not properly understanding how certain stains cannot be removed. In response to an item that was torn off the dress the accusation that it was a faulty garment was cited. I still have no clue why I was asked to go back in just to get yelled at. It was bizarre. Not only was the cleaning service rendered unsatisfactory, the customer interaction was atrocious. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone.

I took an expensive Lillie Pulitzer skirt to Baird's Dry Cleaner with a tiny, less than 1/4"", stain near the hemline. I asked the girl at the window about their methods of stain removal, and was assured that they would be very careful. When I went to pick up the skirt, the stain was still there, as well as a bleached-out 1 1/2"" area around the stain. (They had apparently scrubbed at the stain to try to remove it.) When we talked to the Owner/Manager, he was very defensive, and said that I must have done it. He said his employees were ""too professional"" to have caused it. (These same ""professionals"" who were unable to answer questions in English, or converse with me!) He insisted on sending my skirt to some National Dry Cleaning Institute to be analyzed. Surprise! It was my fault! MY FAULT was ever taking it to Baird's in the first place.
This establishment refuses to accept responsibility for the damages it causes.
