First of all i have shopped diligently at gunnies for 3 years. I have spent thousands to get into the sport just from this store. I live 1 hour and a half away in Price. I went in 2 weeks ago to buy a sig p365. When i got to the gun counter i ask if they had one, the attendant replied, “ yes we do”. He proceeded to pull the gun out of the case. I told him i wanted to buy it. Then him and another attendant told me it was not for sale this was a display model. In not the most professional tone i would add. They told me i could get on a list to get it but i would be about 35 people deep. I left pretty disappointed. So this weekend (4-7-2018) i was in town again so i decided to give it another try. Walked into the store and waited patently. When an attendant asked if he could help, i asked if they had a p365 in that i could buy. The attendant reached down grabbed the gun out of the case and set it on the counter. Then he said its not for sale. I said “look i live almost 2 hours away and i dont have option in my home town to get this gun.” He the proceeded to add insult to injury buy showing me the take. It said the would not at anymore names to their list to order them. So this attendant showed me a gun that i could not buy or order because...why? Still do not know. Why have a display of a gun you wont sell or order for a customer. That just backwards and rude business to me and all these other people they have on a list. They have one, people but you can’t buy it. I went to ready gunner right after... they were more than happy to take my money and put me on a list to get one when they can.
i was looking for a M & P and was having a hard time finding a good price on one. I called Gunnies and they helped me find the gun and at a good price. I will be going to Gunnies from now on.
I went and bought my husband a handgun last week. This store had great selection and prices. We will be back to shop for our camping gear as well.
I'm only giving Gunnies one star because I can't submit a 0-star rating. I bought a pair of boots there and the pull-up strap broke on them 5 days later. Took the boots and receipt back and was told that because the boots were "defective", their policy was to give me store credit or another pair of boots. I did not have the option to get my money back, although it clearly states on my receipt that I can get my money back within 30 days with the receipt. They acted as though the boots being defective was my fault. Crummy customer service, Gunnies. I'll never shop there again!
Amazing store with tons of western apparel, boots, guns and ammunition. What a selection. Nice people too!
Called on the phone to see if they had a gun in stock. They told me they did and I told them I'd be right there to pick it up. I got there and they had just sold it to someone else. That happens. I get it. Can't be upset about that. But the way they treated me was awful. No apologies for driving 20 minutes for nothing. No information about possibly backordering or calling when more stock came in. All I got was, "We sold it." Then I asked about another rifle of the same style that I saw on display. "Sold", was the response I got. Bunch of jerks. I guess that's what happens when you get that big. I was ready to spend $4-5k there today on several firearms. They aren't getting a cent from me now.
