I WILL NEVER USE DUGAN'S B&B MEATS AGAINOne star is the lowest I can rate this company. I had a half beef processed that weighed 360 lbs. when I picked up the processed meat it weighed 178 lbs. 49% of hanging weight. Most web sites state that the processed meat on a lean beef (and my beef was very lean) should be about 70% that equals 252 lbs which indicates about 74 lbs is missing. I had ribs, T-bone steak and ribeye steak so there was a few bones in the final processed meat. A friend of mine had half of a beef that weighed 343 lb hanging, with no bones in the final processing and he put 208 lbs of meat in his freezer, 61% of the hanging weight. He did NOT use Dugan's B&B Meats!I called the shop and asked if maybe they missed some of my meat when they brought our meat out of the freezer the day I picked it up and he said NO with out even checking to see if maybe some of my meat was still in his freezer. Not only did they get their fee for their work, but I feel they also kept some of my meat. My total cost for the beef and processing was $785 which equals $4.39 per pound. Last week T-bone steak was on sale for $3.99 lb.CONCLUSION: Buy the meat you want on sale and save money. If you do choose to process your beef STAY CLEAR OF DUGAN'S B&B MEATS OR YOU MAY BE ASKING THE SAME QUESTION "WHERE'S THE BEEF?"
