If it were an option I would not be giving this company any stars at all. My husband and I have spent the last 7 months caring for our pigs and growing them up to the best of our ability. We started a co-op with other families to give folks the chance to get pasture raised meat without all the extra preservatives.

We dropped these pigs off with the understanding that they would be processed with the basic cuts you would expect. Boston buts, ribs, pork chops, ham steaks, etc. We could have done a better job ourselves. The cuts were rough and ugly. Ham steaks are so thin and full of holes they look like lace. Can't tell the difference between the pork chops and scrap meat. We received about 1800 pounds of meat all jumbled up in a mess. My husband and his friends have spent over 24 hours trying to sort the cuts, trim them, and package them so they are at least somewhat acceptable if you look at them with one eye closed. There was no pride taken in this work; it was rushed with no concern for it turned out.

Highly disappointed that we have put so much time and money into our animals only for the meat to be ruined by this butcher. We will not have any return customers for our co-op, and we will have to refund a lot of families, and waste a lot of meat. Very frustrated.

I just "love" Lee's country pudding. I'm from SC and everytime I come home, I eat as much as possible. I even like it cold (sliced very thin) with crackers. I now live in Connecticut and have different family members send some to my family and I. My three year even loved it the very first time trying it. The only problem I have....it's not easy to get. I'm hoping I can order from the company directly. I hope they will not change the recipe because it's not salty & has a nice mild taste.
