The waiters were standing around and seemed surprised that we walked in. We were told to sit anywhere we wanted. Server was OK not great but OK. I can live with the OK service. Took forever to get our food. My boyfriend ordered a gyro which was brought out first and I waited another 10 minutes for my lamb pocket to come out.



His gyro was OK at best. It had thinly sliced tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce and cabbage mix. The gyro meat tasted microwaved, greasy, and not like gyro meat at all but something gray and vaguely meat like. There was no was sauce, or onions which is normal fare for gyros. My lamb pocket also had the same issue with the meat. It was gray and did not taste like lamb but something that was alive at one point. The bread was good and it was hot and grilled but you can tell the meat was not grilled with the bread. There was too much oil on the bread for me to eat the whole sandwich.



We told our server as soon as we sat down we had a Groupon and he seemed OK with it and that he understood what was involved with it. It gave us an appetizer and two sandwiches with a dollar limit of 8 for the appetizer and 9 for the sandwiches. The bill was brought out and we noticed the amount was incorrect. The total came out to 20.67, which was definitely wrong. Our appetizer was 8 dollars, my sandwich was 9 and my boyfriend's gyro was 6 and plus 2-3 for a Coke. I told the server who brought the check the amount was wrong. He took it back to a girl, her name is Jessica, to correct it.



Now to mention one other thing. We were interrupted in the middle of our meal without apology or forethought to ask to see our Groupon after our server saw it as soon as we sat down and before we even ordered. This was a rude surprise and unwelcomed but whatever, I can deal with the irritation as I had already decided I was not coming back and regretting the $13 Groupon. Jessica began to argue with the server and we could hear them. The server, not our original one but a different one, explained the Groupon to her and said the amount isn't correct. She began arguing and yelling that it was right but said she would redo it. She called her boss, Olga, and either the manager misunderstood what the Groupon was or tried to overcharge us regardless of the groupon terms. Needless to say there was yelling going on by her.



The server that brought the bill came back with the right amount after 15-20 minutes of yelling from Jessica. The bill still wasn't 100% accurate but at this point I had had it and wanted to leave. My boyfriend told the server it wasn't right but I gave him the debit card to pay. Jessica came over to see what was going on. She then said to us, "What exactly don't you understand" which we found offensive and rude beyond belief. We then explained, for a third time, what the terms of the groupon were to her. She then said that she rang up the groupon exactly as her boss advised her to do. At this point we're both mad and ready to leave. My boyfriend told her how bad the food was, service was less than desirable, and her attitude just topped it. She never offered to try to make anything right. We asked for her name and for her manager's name. She told us the owner's name is Olga. We asked when she would be in to talk about the situation. She said she didn't know. The server with the bill said that she would be in at 5 today. The look on her face confirmed she was mad that he told us. She tried to backtrack and say the only reason she didn't tell us when the owner would be in is because she has "doctor appointments". The server asked if there was anything he could for us, how the food was, ect and that he appreciated our honesty. The girl stomped back off to sit behind the register and glared at us the whole time we were there until we left.

I was ther today! The food is amazing and they have lots of different options. I got lamb soup there, soup not from Menu, but ask if they have it as special. It was the best soup I ever had before!!! Desert! Yam!!!!! Try!!!!!!!
