Kitchens by Design

Would not recommend this company. Contracts were signed in Nov. 2008. Work started Feb 2009 and the kitchen was to be finished mid to end of Mar. 2009. Then in Dec. 2009 the kitchen was still not finished, I fired them and finished the kitchen myself, and I was out the money I already paid them to finish the job.Whatever company you go with be aware of the following.Do NOT agree to pay for anything up front. If you are going to pay in stages pay after the work or product is to your satisfaction, or you may not see them again and you are out your money, good luck getting your money back. A contractor that claims he has to pay is supplier first may not be in good standings in this economy and may need the money.Get everything in writing before work continues. They WILL forget to put it in writing later or claim that it was not agreed on and ask you to show them the contract, which states such changes.Do NOT agree to Arbitration, this takes away your legal rights to sue in
