Kumon Math and Reading Center

I'm a former Kumon student of 6 years in both math and reading. Although it wasn't the most fun experience of my life, it certainly helped me to get where I am now. Recently, I was accepted into 4 great Colleges with a Biology major; UCSD, Boston College, Macalester, and UW Honors!

It had always been a good feeling to be ahead of my classmates in Math and English throughout elementary and middle school. But more importantly, Kumon gave me the tools to solve problems on my own and independently motivate myself. If it wasn't for Kumon I wouldn't have these great college choices. Thank you Olympia Kumon!

My son has been a Kumon student for about 7 years. In that time, he has become an independent learner who loves both math and reading. Math is his favorite and he wants to be an engineer someday even though neither of his parents know much about engineering. Kumon inspires kids to reach their full potential.

I decided to try the Kumon Math program when I was hired as the Office Manager 4 years ago, both to improve my math skills and to learn first-hand how the curriculum is designed. I was amazed at how neatly and smoothly each new concept is introduced, so that if you do the work in the proper sequence, follow the instructions and examples carefully, and do it daily, you can't NOT learn. In fact, I re-learned some skills that had never been all that strong (and concepts I wasn't all that clear on) the first time 'round in high school. Math had never been my strong suit, but now I have much more confidence and better math skills than most of my adult friends! Kumon rocks!
