VCA Olathe Animal Hospital

Simply put I would not trust any other vet with my 8 year old Chihuahua. The staff is so friendly and knowledgable, they always make me feel at ease. I have been nothing but satisfied and all of my experiences have been extremely pleasant. I would highly recommend Olathe Animal Hospital, they are amazing!!! :)

I am really surprised with the negative reviews. I really love taking my dog to this animal hospital. They are always so patient with all of my questions, take time to go through the procedures and costs, and I feel like it is well worth the money to go to Olathe Animal Hospital. I have a new dog (since August) and they have been great keeping me informed of puppy development, milestones, needs for shots, meds, training options, etc. The staff has always been polite when they call, or I do. I would highly recommend them to anyone that has a pet they love.

On a side note. Prior to this dog, we had another dog for 15 years. Through those years we visited four other vets (not Olathe Animal Hospital) and they didn't hold a candle to the personal care, cleanliness and professionalism of the staff.

I would not go Olathe Animal Hospital. I took my rabbit in a few months ago. They charged me $50 for an exam and then told me all she needed was more hay (something they could have told me over the phone). I was then charged $20 for medicine. If that wasn't enough they then charged me $40 for a fecal test that I did not even know I was being charged for. They charged me over $100 just to see my rabbit that could have been taken of over the phone. I would defiantly shop around before choosing this veterinarian. Or at least ask up front if there are any other costs. Even if have already paid!
