This Dr. did a complete reconstruction to my left ankle 4 years ago, I am in more pain now than I was before, and after seeing many other specialists, they told me that the incision that was used has not been used in twenty years. I also have peroneal nerve dysfunction from the surgery. Before I went in for surger he told me that he would have me better than new and that there was absolutely no risk involved in the operation. He also said the surgery would last only 45 minutes, after over 5 hours of surgery I awoke in the most intense pain I have ever felt. He left the hospital 3 months after the surgery without warning and without recommending me to another Dr. I later found out that he was actually a knee surgeon and had done either very few or no ankle surgery's previously. I am unable to find a Dr. that will even consider trying to correct what was done because of the jumbled lump of meat he turn my ankle into. Because of this doctors hubris I will forever be crippled with a constant pain to remind me why I trust very few physicians.
