The workers have to the dumbest batch of people in the state of Texas! They have no clue what or how to run the restaurant. They hostess answers the phone then hangs up on you. Then if they do ask and you want to order to go- they transfer you and you're placed on hold forever. It's like common sense to go tell the bartender there's someone on hold to place an order. But nope they ignore the phone. Guess a beeping noise doesn't bother their dinge bat brains. I'm even scared to even complain to management bc they're the type of people who will give you food off the ground or spit in it. I own a small restaurant so I know how food service is. But this place is ridiculous every time I call!
One of my favorite places to eat in Odessa! The atmosphere is very cozy and intimate, and the noise level is much less than in most restaurants. Larry Burdette is a hands on owner, and he always goes out of the way to make his guests feel special. Love their lunch menu -- great salads, great …
Food is acceptable, but service and atmosphere? Forget it. Spend your money somewhere else.\r Hopefully Shrimp boat management will review their online ratings, and see what a mess they have.\r I can tell you first hand they will NOT respond to direct inquiries or concerns!

This restaurant is a must! I go here for lunch and it is usually pretty busy but that tells you how good the food is. I typically get an outlaw burger which is no regular burger. It has onion rings and BBQ sauce on it and pickles. The last time I went I tried a crawfish po'boy which was just as …
Worst restaurant in Odessa. Poor excuse for a "Catfish" place when they are downright Rude, overcook the fish and serve it cold, and quite frankly, STEAL your money. I tipped the rude waitress a $2.00 tip (which she DID NOT DESERVE) on a $13.47 tab, and the charge on my card was for $20.47. I'm not a math wiz but 13+2 does NOT EQUAL 20!! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU WILL NOT ONLY BE SERVED COLD, OVERCOOKED FOOD, BUT THEY WILL EMBEZZLE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY IF YOU GIVE THEM THE CHANCE TO!
For the most part my service here has been fair.Last time i went though they forgot part of our order and still charged us for it! Also this red lobster seems to have a strange stench.
So gross! Really, don't waste your money. We had a bad feeling when the parking lot was empty at lunch time, and again when we saw how dirty and rundown the building was....but this IS West Texas after all. What do you expect? Unfortunately, the only good thing about this restaurant was the service. All the fried foods (pretty much your only choice) tasted exactly the same. (I had catfish - that tasted like eggs - and very rubbery prawns; my husband had chicken fried steak - that tasted like fish - and popcorn shrimp...all you can eat. Big mistake.) And "hand battered?" I sincerely doubt it. I think I detected the faint taste of cardboard.... And did I mention it was really, really DIRTY? I was tempted to try the "home-made ice-cream," but after the few bites of fish I tried, my stomach did not agree. If you find yourself in need of a 24-hour diner and can tolerate cigarette smoke, Pojo's on Kermit Hwy has much better food. (Still not spotless, but this IS West Texas, after all.)
Delicious! I wouldn't even know which meal to suggest! They all taste good!
Just amazing! Don't leave without trying the homemade ice cream or pies. You won't find better catfish!
This has to be one of the best restaurants ever. The wait staff is friendly, and the food is homemade and tastes great! My favorite is the homemade ice cream and pies. Especially the chocolate cream pie. You won't find a better catfish recipe either. Most of the menu is fried, but if you are a healthier eater then go for the teriyaki chicken - it is delicious. You don't want to miss out on this place. Plus it is 24hrs a day - so if you get hungry at 4am you can get great food!
Had the catfish dinner with a tossed salad and baked potato. The ranch dressing is their recipe and it was the best I have ever had. They also have pies made from scratch that are to die for. I will most definitely be coming back! Plus great service.
So I am driving to El Paso with a stop in Odessa and I am hungry, this is "steak and potato" country and I don't eat meat. What's a girl to do?? Well I found a listing for Catfish and Company on the Odessa City guide and decided to give a whirl, and boy am I glad I did! Fantastic doesn't even come close. The fried catfish is wonderful, the clam strip was great even the sliced jalapenos were fresh and extra spicy! So, all I got to say is, if you ever find yourself in Odessa, you too should give it a whirl.
The breakfasts here are so good! They have the best bacon I have ever eaten. Their English muffins are also delicious. Nice friendly place -- not fancy -- not flashy -- just down home.
