So glad I found this store when visiting Oceanside. We needed drinks, snacks, fruit and sunblock and they had it all!
All of my adult life I have lived all over the Western USA and Albertson's has always been the grocery store nearby but usually it's the last place I would go.
I have been shopping at this Vons grocery store for the past 10 located on college blvd and hwy 76 since their grand reopening the store is much more organized but the quality of the meat dept has suffered. I bought shrimp for my easter dinner,I know how to cook shrimp, and when my guests tried to peel the shrimp the shell stuck to the shrimp so badly that it could hardly be eaten. Everyone was frustrated me especally all it could do is appologise over and over. Yesterday went there for celery mushrooms and other items and it should have been a quick in and out but Vons celery was rubbery and so were the carrots. now since the grand reopening is the quality going to be compremised hope this is just a passing thing and you will get you quality back. I asked a lady survisor in the dept about the cost of butternut squash but never got an answer and she was a little tense that I asked the question because the price wasn't marked. If I have to I will shop elsewhere .
