I have been going to Dr. Banas for over 5 years. Initially I was having trouble with a tooth and two other dentists said nothing was wrong with it. I became very discouraged until I met Dr. Banas. I was referred to him by a co-worker who told me he is the best. Dr. Banas took the time to really listen to me and examined my tooth with a tiny camera that magnifies teeth-- on the TV monitor you could clearly see a large crack through the tooth that was causing the pain! Dr. Banas performed a series of tests on the tooth and thoroughly explained everything including all of the treatment options. This is the first time I have ever received such a thorough exam of my mouth. I decided to save my broken tooth with a root canal. The procedure was painless (including the shot) and the best part is that my tooth pain was completely eliminated for good! Dr Banas explained that root canal teeth need to be capped or they will eventually deteriorate. He offers many different choices in caps-- I chose the "empress" material which matches my other teeth perfectly. I liked my empress cap so much that I decided to have him eventually fix all of my front teeth with the same material. Now I have white, straight beautiful teeth. People frequently comment on my pretty smile and I refer them to Dr. Banas. His prices are very reasonable and I actually found his prices to be a little less than what I was paying at the other two dental offices. His staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they provide exceptional service. They all take good care of all the referrals I have sent him over the years. They treat you like family and know exactly who you are whenever you walk in the office. Unfortunately, l have moved from the Coast earlier this year out of state due to the faltering economy. It has been hard to find a new dentist that I trust because Dr. Banas has spoiled me with all of his special treats like neck cushion, hand waxing, headphones with music, scented hot towels,text message appointment reminders, etc. My new dentist has commented that Dr. Banas is a good dentist because it shows in the quality of the work and materials used. Dr. Banas is second to none.
