General Info: Founded in 1946, CYO Camp is a retreat center that organizes various summer camps and related activities. It offers services to youths between the ages of 7 to 16 in the Bay area. The center conducts a variety of recreational activities, such as swimming, canoeing, gardening, outdoor cooking, hiking and team building. It additionally organizes several sports activities, including basketball, archery, volleyball, soccer and golf. The center provides a range of educational programs related to theater, dance, leadership, and arts and crafts. It also offers field trips for individuals and groups to the Russian River and Sonoma Coast. The center provides accommodations, as well as transportation, health care and pickup services. It is accredited by the American Camp Association. CYO Camp is a part of Catholic Charities CYO, which is one of the largest nonprofit organizations that provide social services in the Bay Area.
