Alterations Unlimited

Very professional took the time to make sure my gown was perfect for my perfect day. Debbie went above and beyond to make my gown exactly the way I wanted it. She created my key hole back and my Bussel was gorgeous. The girls did my bridal party and even made a sash for my flower girls dress so she could have the same colors as my bridal party. They also took care of the groomsmen jackets and pants. Wonderful staff and Debbie cared so much about making my day perfect and she did. Highly highly recommend Them for all my alterations needs.

I wish I could put negative stars. This place is absolutely careless and negligent. I only bought my dress on condition that I could talk to the seamstress the bridal shop (Solutions Bridal) recommended and that she would confirm the alterations could be done. Debbie showed up and talked over me the whole time, said she didn't need measurements at the time, said all alterations could be done, gave me a quote, and was on her way with my dress. At the time I gave her benefit of the doubt because the bridal shop recommended her so highly and I was supposed to come down for two more fittings so I assumed I would be actually "fitted" or measured in some way.

No word from them for at least a week (mine was a rush order, which they knew in advance, with the wedding date being first week of November). When I called them to see what was happening, they had NO recollection of who I was or what needed to be done with my dress. Which left me with only 1 week to find an alternate seamstress and beg them to pull off a miracle. Debbie was not only rude and talking over me on the phone again, but they obviously don't know how to put someone on hold, so the whole time I was hearing her and her receptionist loudly talk about how they didn't know who I was or what dress this was that I was talking about. Then she told me to "chill out" and that I "worried too much".

The end of the conversation was when she said "I can fit you on Tuesday," and I reminded her MY WEDDING IS ON THURSDAY! Again, she repeated "Chill out, you worry too much, you can pick it up the next week"....meaning....after my wedding I can pick up my wedding dress? Thanks a lot, that's very helpful. I just told her to pack up my dress and have it waiting for me, and NOT TO TOUCH IT. And I promptly found somewhere else that was gracious enough to try and complete my order in very rushed amount of time.

I understand I had a complicated order: the dress was a sample and need a lot of work, I am not the easiest to fit due to health issues, my wedding is VERY soon...BUT, these were all things that the bridal shop and the seamstress were WELL AWARE of beforehand, and basically they just gave me lip service to make me complete the sale.

So, in conclusion, I would not trust Alterations Unlimited with ANYTHING, and I would not trust Solutions Bridal to have your best interest in mind if they think they can close the sale. Everything else with Solutions Bridal was fine, but I cannot believe that they recommended this seamstress and can only assume they knowingly just said whatever they needed to to get me to buy the dress.

Didn't alter my dress properly. She doesn't actually work on all of the dresses she has others do it my dress was all messed up. Too late to fix it for the wedding.

They give fairly decent prices comparable to other alteration services in the area. They give you the attention you need to get what you want. A+
