Dr. Joseph Palumbo enjoys using his comprehensive range of clinical skills to help patients achieve the smile they’ve always wanted. In his care, patients are treated on a personal, caring basis, and find comfort and satisfaction with their results. Dr. Palumbo received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook before earning his doctorate degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 1997. After completing an advanced education in General Dentistry from Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn NY, he and Dr. Yousuf formed East Lyme Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in 2000. Dr. Palumbo also holds a fellowship certification in dental implants from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers from the Rosenthal Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry in New York City. Dr. Palumbo’s other affiliations include Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), Cerec Doctors Assoc., American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), and the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped (NFDH). Dr. Palumbo resides in Old Saybrook with his wife and four children.
