Lebow Eye Associate - Richmond

Staff was a pleasure to work with in helping my son and daughter pick out glasses! I highly recommend and will be coming back. Ashley was a pleasure to speak with over the phone!

I tried this office and was extremely disappointed. Everyone was friendly, but the pros stop there. I was asked to complete online forms when I initially made the appointment. Upon arrival for my appointment, they could not locate the forms, though they thought they must have started two different new patient files for me. I filled out new paperwork. I was called back over 30 minutes after my appointment time. Dr. Cook was nice but he didn't inform me that he was actually having me try on and prescribing a different contact lens brand from the ones I last wore. I had to call the office back to ask why and if he could write a prescription for my former brand. Someone then called me later that afternoon saying I owed more money (over $100 more), though I had paid what they asked at the end of my appointment. They said they thought it was an insurance card, but I had explained upon arrival and during the initial phone call that it was only a vision discount card and that I had no insurance. This was a repeatedly frustrating experience.

I think that the previous person who gave this place a negative review can't be talking about the same place!!! I have been going to this office for years and have went another place to save money one year and regretted my decision. The staff there is so nice and helpful. You can tell that they are knowledgeable and love what they do!!! I am okay with waiting two weeks for my glasses because I know that they are giving me the best product out there and compared to other retailers who don't care if the prescription is right and don't want you to bother them with problems. At this office they are more than willing to help. I would recommend this office to anyone! I will never leave Lebow Eye Associates.

They are expensive, inefficient, and difficult to do business with. Every year they make me fill out the same forms even though my information never changes, they never call when our glasses are ready, their turn around times on glasses are excessive compared to their competitors, and I was able to get 2 pairs of glasses in an hour for less than HALF of what they wanted to charge me for comparable glasses that they said would not be ready for 2 weeks! Also, I spent over an hour in their office today for a simple eye exam. They have too many people seemingly doing nothing at the front desk. We won't be back.
