I moved from NJ to SC and everything went as planned. The rates are great and accurate and calculated by cubic feet. Everything is stated in the contract and all the work was done with care and respect. Moving ended up being less hectic and I was able to feel secure.

Amerisouth Relocation may not be a very well known company, but it sure as hell should be. I researched many companies and got estimates, but the only one I felt completely sure about was the one I got from this company. The price was reasonable compared to the others and the workers did such a great job! They handled all my belongings as if they were there own. They are professional, friendly, accommodating and extremely hardworking. This is a decision I made that I will never regret. Thanks Amerisouth for making my move a pleasant experience.

Worst moving company ever!!! My family and I hired this company to move us from PA to Fl. They grossly under estimated our square footage, told us the price would be based on weight (and so we sold a lot of bigger things) and then told us it would be an extra $5,000 in order for them to deliver our stuff. When we got our things, all of the outside furniture was missing. When we were unpacking, about 1/2 of our things were broken, even the rubbermaid totes were damaged so badly, they could not be used again. We filed a claim, took and sent pictures, sent them and never heard back from the company. When I called them, I was told that they were closing in a month. Nobody ever called back, or even said "I'm sorry". DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!



****UPDATE**** It has been 2 years since we used this company (we moved in July '11), we received an email offering a settlement of $50 to close our case. I said no, told and wrote an email back about our experience. The girl said its under new management and she would talk to her supervisor/owner and get back to us. We have never heard back, and when we called again, she was "on vacation". The good reviews for this company are FALSE. They are done by people who work there. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!

Do not fall for the hype or false good reviews. I just currently moved out of state with Amerisouth. They robbed me blind. They quoted me 750 for the items I told them which was to the exact when they arrived. Upon arrival the mover told me it would cost flat rate 1200. That's almost double and there was not a box more than what I was quoted at. The mover was very pushy and knowing I had no other option last minute. He kept brushing off my questions about the cubic feet and I wanted to go on the truck and measure it together because I knew for a fact my items did not come close to the amount he wrote down. This company is a scam. I was told and which I video recorded him saying if I paid 70 percent of the cash at that point my stuff would be to Georgia in 2-3 days yea right try 2 weeks. When I called to ask why I haven't received my items the receptionist who is also full of crap said one of their trucks broke down. Trust me when I say run from this company they are liars and will jack up the price when you are at your most vulnerable time. They also arrived and said they had to box up my televisions etc and charged me for additional supplies which no one at the company made me aware of. They charged me for 2 tv boxes and they only used one placing both of my flat screens in one box. The box was a recycled box from several previous moves. Scam scam scam!!!!! DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY if you're on a budget trust me its better to fork out for a better company. They also have an F on better business bureau.

Ameri South Relocation made my move so smooth and fast. I found this company online so I gave them a call; the sales rep was so helpful and informative. I explained to her that this was not the only company I was calling for prices but she re assured me they can give me the best deal out there and they included the liability insurance for free. They used padded blankets for my sensitive items, loaded and unloaded everything, disassembled and reassembled my items for free! The estimate they gave me also included fuel, tolls, taxes and was one of the few companies that offered all these amenities, other companies I called were charging me a separate charge for this. All my items got from New Jersey to Miami safe and fast! Thanks Ameri south

I just moved today with this company and they did such a great job I wanted to a few minutes to show my appreciation to them. this move couldn't have went better.

Amerisouth was a great choice they were very professional, reliable and my move from NY to Florida was a great experience.

Look at all the reviewers on this page -- all the names / formats of reviewers are exactly the same. I'm guessing that AmeriSouth added all these reviews themselves. Look at the 1 bad review because my experience was EXACTLY the same.



They were provided a detailed inventory of what was to be shipped and gave me a quote of under $900. The actual price was MORE THAN DOUBLE. There was no call to tell me that the cost was going to be much higher until after they had taken my posessions away.



The person on the front end was very nice and kind when setting up the contract. The person on the back end was rude and had 'absolutely no sympathy for me'.



I was told it might be good to give a deposit amount so that the amount due at time of delivery (in cash) would be an even amount. After they had my posessions, suddenly I was required to deposit the funds directly into their Chase account (no chase bank within 30 miles of me), or send a postal mail order. They'd schedule delivery AFTER the mail order was received. So much for meeting their delivery date.



This company is full of shysters.

My daughter needed to move from N.Y. to N.C. on short notice. Amerisouth Relocation handled the move wonderfully. The movers were courteous and hard working. The final price was exactly what the quote was. I would highly recommend Amerisouth Relocation !!!

This is the best company out there. I have used them for years and recommended to everyone I know. The guys who work there have been with the company for years so you see the same faces again and again. They are professional and fast. They make sure the customer is happy with everything!

My job requires me to move every couple of years from branch to branch, and I’ve used a lot of moving companies in the past. Almost everytime something went wrong. For my last move to Richmond, VA I decided to give my business to amerisouth relocation. Having moved so many times in the past I knew all the problems that can arise during the move so I did my research on the company. I spoke to Lola who assured me about the services, and I decided to let the company do all the packing for my move. The Price Lola gave me was reasonable, not the lowest on the market, but the service was worth every penny. On the day of the move the guys arrived early in the morning and pack my whole house in just a few hours, taking care of everything. Talking to Lola I forgot about a couple of tools and a tool box in the garage, but the guys brought some extra packing material and packed that as well. All in all, I am very satisfied in the way Amerisouth handled my move.

I can't think of enough nice things to say about these guys. I moved from a one bedroom apartment to another (from Montclair NJ to Great Neck NY) in April and they sent three movers to make it happen (Felix and two others). This move was the second time that I hired Amerisouth and they delivered again.



They are very upfront about the costs (which I think are competitive, but to be honest I didn't shop around much). The movers were courteous, respectful of my belongings and they worked efficiently and quickly so as to minimize the cost of the move. They also brought lots of extras to help. They brought wardrobe boxes with rods in them for my hanging clothes (no extra cost) as well as plastic wrap and blankets for furniture with drawers (so that I wouldn't have to empty the drawers), and some large plastic containers for odds and ends (no extra cost).



Both of my moves were during heat waves and I was truly amazed at how fast these guys move. If you're moving within the New York try state area definitely look into Amerisouth Moving. If I move within the area again I would hire them for a third time.

I just want to share the great experience I had with amerisouth moving just last week when I hired them to move my apartment. I just got a new job and needed a new apartment in the city. I had very little time to move to the new place. So after consulting some friends I contacted them based on good feedback from a couple of friends. On the moving day the mover guys came right on time. They started working immediately, packing carefully and loading the stuff on the truck. They finished everything within three hours. Then they delivered my stuff to my apartment within the time I asked. Overall they provided an excellent service and asked for a reasonable price.

This was the first time I ever hired professional movers and I have to say it was worth every penny. My previous experience was quite traumatic but that's what I get for not hiring the pros.



I spoke to Rebecca from Amerisouth Relocation, and she gave me the rates, which are very competitive. Other moving companies I contacted wanted to charge a deposit, plus an extra fee to pay with a credit card and extra fees to stretch/shrink wrap furniture. With Amerisouth Relocation, you don't get nickel and dime. They give you the price up front with no hidden costs.



On moving day, Rebecca gave me a courtesy phone call letting me know they were en route and they arrived 10 minutes early and were ready to go. The movers were professional, polite, and overall had very pleasant and friendly personalities.



As far as their job performance goes, I can't say one bad thing about Amerisouth Relocation. I have A LOT of stuff and the movers treated everything with care. I couldn't believe how strong these men were. And you would think after hours and hours of moving heavy boxes they'd start slowing down but these guys were like the super heroes of moving! They were actually running back and forth all day long. I was very impressed and pleased from beginning to end. The team I had was Leo, George, Anthony, & Ryan and I can't thank them enough for making this move such a pleasant experience for me and my husband.



I will most definitely refer Amerisouth Relocation to all my friends and family.
