Advocate BroMenn Medical Center's radiology services combines state-of-the-art technology with the expertise of our health care professionals. Comprised of seven sub-departments -- CT Scan, Diagnostic Radiology, Mammography, Bone Densitometry, Nuclear Medicine, MRI and Ultrasound -- we perform outpatient and inpatient procedures and screenings on the lower level of the hospital and in the Women's Center, and conduct 3D mammography and bone density testing at the Advocate BroMenn Outpatient Center. The Advocate BroMenn Medical Center radiology department is accredited by the American College of Radiology in Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Nuclear Medicine and is the only hospital in Bloomington-Normal to earn these accreditations in both general and cardiac imaging. We are also accredited in Mammography. We use the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to provide our patients and physicians with timely, accurate testing results. Operated under the direction of a board-certified radiologist and with a team consisting of board-certified radiologists, supervisors and a staff of highly-trained technologists, nurses and assistants, our department is staffed 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
