First off - I never knew places like this existed. I needed a new sun visor for my car and it costs about $80 bucks online, but will cost $7 bucks at Pull-A-Part. The only catch is that you have to pull the part off the car....then it's yours. The place is pretty modern with touch screens to sort through cars and parts. Plenty of parking and I believe it's a standard two bucks to enter the junkyard. Enjoy!
I made an account just for this business, if you can call it that. It is obsurd that there is no way to talk to a human. If their automated system did anything other than hang up on me it wouldn't be that big of an issue, unfortunately that's not the case. I have a fleet of vehicles that need parts but this place won't be getting any of my company's business. Really wish that zero stars was an option.
Absolutely horrible experience. I scheduled to have my 1994 Toyota Camry picked up today and they said they would be there between 1p and 5p. The car currently has a dead battery so I had to recruit a friend to help me push the car out of the garage when 1 came around so the hauler wouldn't have to wait if he came. It's 8:40p now and have been calling Pull-A-Part multiple times just for them to constantly give me the run-around and tell me "Oh your hauler will be calling you shortly" and nothing. The hours are still passing by and I haven't received a call by anyone.
I'm just very disappointed and frustrated that no one was able to help me figure out what the status was on the hauler's route and I basically have to waste an entire day at home waiting for a hauler that may not even show up.
Your answering machine/service is worthless. You might as well not even have a phone number listed. I couldn't get to where I could find out if you have my part or the price. I have the choice of going somewhere else now or taking the chance and wasting mybtime and gas to drive to see if you have what I need and if you don't want like new price for it. I am very unhappy!
I have been in the area for over 30 yrs this junk yard was at one time Allen City & was owned by my friends family. I went a few times after it became Pull-A-Part & it sucked but I went back yesterday. June-06-12 - Cons - Call them & get a automated response that can't understand anything I say & then want's you to type letters on the phone which if you have a cell phone good luck with. I finally gave up. A phone call is useless. Pros - I went to get some parts for my 87 Full Size Bronco, all the other lots told me they crush older cars now because the steel is worth so much. WOW has this place changed. Everyone spoke English the guys in the yard were very help full & easy to get along with. It's $2 to get in but they printed me a list of all the vehicles that fit what I needed. The list shows name of vehicle date dropped in yard & what row it is in OMG that was help full. Next once in the back this place had every thing it is so much better than it was last time I went I had to rewrite my review.
I don't know why I can't talk to a person to see if they have the part I need before I have to drive 2 and half hours just to find out the answering service don't even give a number for drivetrain parts either update the answering service or have someone there to talk to please that's a long drive and a lot of gas to find out something the idea of what yall do is great but not knowing what yall have is ridiculous
