Essex Street Inn & Suites, Ascend Hotel Collection

We loved our cozy, 3rd floor room. The skylight was awesome and we really enjoyed the decor and colors of the room.

You can really tell the members of the staff care about this place and their guests. They were exceedingly helpful and dedicated during our stay.

Great wifi and the breakfast was delicious, but the location to the beach is by far my favorite thing about Essex Street Inn!

You can't beat the location of the Essex Street Inn. It's right near all the restaurants, shops and bars. So fun.

I really did enjoy the style of the inn. It created a very comfortable and cozy ambiance. The food was good and the location was ideal. There are a lot of things to do in the surrounding city and the staff was friendly and attentive.

We stumbled upon the inn when wee decided to take a random trip, and Newburyport was our destination and are glad we did. It was meant to be, as we were fortunate enough to get the last room available. The manager was awesome, she and her staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed throughout our stay.We will definitely return.

Thanks to a wrong turn my wife and I ended up in Newburyport and needed a place to stay for the night. The Essex Street Inn was not only visually appealing and comfortable but was also within walking distance of everything! We really loved our stay!
