The Center for Geriatric Health Care is a part of the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The Center for Geriatric Health Care is a recognized program that is designed to provide assessment and primary health care for adults of more than 65 years. It offers specialty services, including ophthalmology, podiatry, urology and cardiology, as well as supports a healthy mind program. The center also provides transportation assistance for medical appointments. The Center for Geriatric Health Care serves adults with chronic medical conditions and dementia, as well as is responsible for nursing assessments and social services. It is owned and operated by the Saint Barnabas Health Care System. The center is located in Newark, N.J.
