Founded in 1991, Harlem RBI is a nonprofit organization that offers youth development programs. The organization serves boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 21 through its sports, education and enrichment activities. Its Rookie League program provides learning opportunities for baseball and softball. Harlem RBI offers social work services that include short-term solution-based counseling, referrals to outside agencies and crisis intervention services. The organization places youths in job internships with its sponsors and supporters. It offers nutritional programs to promote healthy eating habits, as well as projects focusing on teamwork and conflict resolution. The organization s unit, DREAM Charter School serves students in kindergarten through grade eight and provides several educational programs. Harlem RBI is located in New York City.
