Dental Examination

X-rays

Panoramic x-rays are taken with a machine that circles your head providing a complete overview of all teeth such as tooth roots, upper and lower jawbones, the sinuses, and other hard surfaces in the mouth.

Teeth Cleaning
Dental cleanings are a great way to prevent plaque buildup and bacteria causing early gum disease and tooth decay. Your hygienist will use a scaling instrument to gently remove plaque on your teeth and along the gum line.

While in dental school, Dr. Espinosa met her husband, Dr. Shaun Young, who was also studying dentistry at the time. Dr. Espinosa worked in a private practice in Atlanta for two years while her husband completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University. After her husband graduated, they moved to the Tampa area and Dr. Espinosa began working for Dr. Robert Wolfenden in the fall of 2017.

The gum tissue will be minimally cut to expose the tooth. Then, the tooth will be extracted to alleviate your pain and discomfort.
