Dr. Marcel M Bacchus, MD

I arrived to my appointment early to find that they did not have me scheduled. I had made the phone call to schedule a check up and to get an IUD- and confirmed this date/time a week prior. They said they would be able to get my in soon.

I was at the office for literally three hours and spoke with the doctor for five minutes. He told me he was unwilling to insert an IUD on a woman who had not been pregnant. I informed him that I previously had the paraguard- and due to my mental health issues, and chatting with my psychiatrist- hormonal birth control was not on option for me. I asked him why the receptionist I spoke with AND the nurse who took my information did not mention anything to me when I reminded them I was there to get an IUD.

He did not charge me for my appointment - but this was an incredibly frustrating experience that could have been avoided if his staff would have been clear to begin with.

Dr. Bacchus is a pervert. He made inappropriate remarks and asked me invasive questions about my personal life. He became quite angry when I tried to deflect his advances. I should and probably will report him.

Dr. Bacchus was an exceptional physician. I was very nervous when I was pregnant for the first time. However, with Dr. Bacchus' excellent care, knowledge, and teaching skills, I and my daughter made it through a difficult pregnancy with ease and the security of having a compassionate and thourough OB-GYN. I am a nurse who works closely with multiple physicians, and I will always remain impressed with Dr. Bacchus above all.
