General Info: In 1909, immigrates to America from Stuttgart, Germany, Christian Hofmann and his family opened a butcher shop in Pittsburgh that quickly flourished. The company incorporated as the North Side Packing Corporation. The company offers a line of full-cooked, full-browned, 100 percent pork sausage products. It is and has been governed by a HACCP program since 1994. An increasingly diverse product line of new flavors and recipes allows the company to open doors of innovation for the restaurant industry. Its products include original, select, skinless, apple-cinnamon, maple, Italian, turkey and crumbles sausage varieties. It also provides a school line of pork and turkey sausages enhanced with ProPlus Isolated Soy Protein. North Side Packing Corporation is headquartered in Arnold, Pa.
