Grace Church

RUN. They have some wacky, borderline cultish beliefs and are very harsh on people who attend church. Ironically, the least graceful churches I've heard about. The church is inviting but the pastoral "team" is the issue. The pastor has no accountability as the only people who are "over" him are pastors in other churches who have no clue about whats going on, unless it's from the pastor.

I loved this church when I first started going. I was even re-baptized to show as an adult I chose Jesus. It wasn't until I started having marital problems that I saw the bad side. I'm pretty sure the other review from 2007 on here is about me. I was told I was going to hell and I wasn't right with God. I was lost lonely and in need of guidance. What I got was a finger shook in my face and God has turned his back on you. Not everyone from the church treated me that way and for those of you that looked out for me thank you. My life changed after that and went from horrible to right where I need to be. I'm running with my second chance at life and am great full the Lord has given me one. I often think about Grace Church as a lesson of what not to do to someone in their time of need. Especially someone so young. I do miss New Glarus and wish Grace Church all the best.
