We met with Jody and told her we were looking for an acreage in the country where we could keep horses and other livestock. She showed us 10 acres near Humboldt, NE, we really liked the property and made an offer and placed a deposit. We then found out it was in the city limits and no livestock or horses were allowed. We told her we wanted out, but she convinced us to wait and see if we could get an exemption for livestock. We waited 2-3 weeks for the meeting and then were told we could only have 2 horses. We told her that wasn't satisfactory and we wanted out of the deal. She asked us to wait another month and see if the city would change the zoning, we said we were tired of waiting and were done. We have not received our deposit and the realtor is not doing much to help. She made the mistake, we would not have even made an offer if we would have known that the acreage was in the city limits. We did not want a 10 acre lawn.
