Turning Point Extended Care & Sober Living Turning Point Extended Care is a residential sober living community located on the outskirts of New Haven, Connecticut that challenges young men to participate in a transitional learning curriculum that focuses on recovery and healing, emotional and personal growth, academic and vocational development, independent living skills and work ethic. Within the framework of a structured and supportive environment, residents are provided with the time, tools and support needed to continue healing while learning to live life without drugs. Focus is on integrity in all aspects of living – and the importance of willingness and courage in the journey along the road to recovery. Set in a comfortable home–like environment, our “phased reintegration” program allows residents to apply the concepts learned in treatment with gradual exposure to outside life only as they display the insight, discipline, decision-making and problem-solving skills necessary to successfully handle the stressors that come with that exposure.
