Thank you, State To State Relocation! I do appreciate you so much. You are great! You are all fantastic and above all you are perfect in what you do. You know how to impress, and you proved that to me. That was an awesome package you delivered last weekend. You made my entire family settle down in Kentucky in style. Everyone is full of praises for you. On behalf of them, I would like to express my sincere gratitude. There is no doubt you have earned my loyalty. I will always be your client, and you can count my friends to be in too!

The admin staff were extremely helpful and attentive to detail. The moving crew was friendly and on time. Their professionalism and efficiency completely eliminated the stress of moving. They're my go-to movers from now on.

I have never in my life experienced a more dishonest company and group of people. Do NOT use this company for any reason. I still have not received my items and it is months later. They won't respond to my calls or emails. I have hired an attorney and am pursuing further legal action unless my items are delivered immediately.



My items were picked up in NJ in October and were supposed to be put in climate-controlled storage for 4-5 months. I out of no where received a call a month after pick up that they would be delivering my items the following day and needed the address. I did not yet have an apartment in Georgia and they placed all of my items on a truck without an address or ever speaking to me regarding delivery.



I worked it out with the driver to deliver to SC since they were already doing a pick up in the state and I could get a storage unit for the following day. We agreed to a lower negotiated price since my move would not be delivered to the proper address. Then the owner of State to State called me and started screaming at me on the phone and hung up on me when I said I would not pay extra money to have it delivered on top of the contract, as this was their fault. In addition, they wrote an email when I booked my move that State to State is not a broker, which is a false statement and can be used against them in a court of law.



After trying to raise the total of my move by over a thousand dollars and us not agreeing to pay above the contract, they said they would not be delivering my items. My items are now in storage somewhere supposedly in Augusta, GA, but for all I know that could be another lie from this consistently dishonest company.



This company will also not allow you to pay via credit card like you did in the beginning of the move. It insists cash only and will not take your items off the truck to let you review the state and quantity of your items until you have provided the full payment in cash. They have absolutely no reason to help if something is missing or damaged.



Please don’t make the same mistake I did. They are holding hostage so much more than just things. They have my photos, gifts from my sister who passed away and so many other priceless items to me but worthless to them.

they over charge you hang up phone on you not honest in anyway! stay away!

I want to thank John and State to State. They did a lot for me in terms of taking on my job last second. The other moving company bailed on us two days before our move and we couldn't do anything about it and no one wanted to take us on without charging late fees. John came and and got us picked up and delivered on time. Thanks again

While it starts great with friendly understanding calls to get your business it will turn to a nightmare as soon as they get your business and put your boxes in their truck!



So, be careful and think twice before you assume you found your mover.



I wish it was just matter of being off on their estimate and extra $$$. They will pick up on time as you request, but that doesn't mean they will deliver as they promised. So make sure you have plan B when you noticed the deliver is late by 10-15 days!!!



I know you are reading this and you think you will be smarter than me and make sure you will cover all the bases and I'm pretty sure you are smarter because so far you are still reading my review, but they are doing this for long time and know how to get you.



Once they have your whole life in their hand in an unknown location and tell you that they will deliver it 10-15 later that you were expecting to receive, I'm not sure what you can do! Obviously they will tell you that you didn't read the fine print and you misunderstood them.and if you start pushing them they are not shy to insult you.



I'm pretty sure if you ask them about my review they will give you convincing reason why you should not listen to me (at the time I asked them/JD Adam about some of the reviews and he gave me convincing answers to the point that I decided to go with them, now I know I should have taken the reviews more serious), but all I can say you are better off to find some other mover who doesn’t have this types of reviews.

I felt very deceived by the whole company. I received a quote to move my storage unit. I GAVE THE EXACT STORAGE SIZE. since they go by Cubic feet, this should be the easiest estimate ever! 10x20 unit 85% full. I also gave them an inventory of items I knew were not boxed and larger items along with the exact number of boxes. My move was originally done by the military, so you cant get more specific on the items and weight. They chose not to calculate based on my storage size (even though you would get an EXACT cf of items) and instead went off of the inventory which shouldn't even matter (I could have all feathers or all rocks, they base it off of the cf which can be very easily calculated since I know how much is in my storage unit). After the movers getting to the storage unit, they call me saying it is double the estimated cubic feet. WTF! How could it be double when I said exactly how much is filled in that storage unit. Not to mention, I overestimated since the movers actually said my unit was only 75% full not 80-85% full like I thought. Needless to say, I couldnt afford double the estimated price. I had put a $500 deposit which they would not refund. I feel like they took advantage of my vulnerable state. I would never recommend them! And I'm military so we move a lot and give a lot of referrals!

My wife and I just retired. We’d been thinking about leaving our family home for a while, but when we found out we had 2 grandchildren on the way, the decision was made for us. My wife was a painter so apart from our 4 bedroom home, we had a workspace full of all kinds of stuff.While doing the original inventory checklist with the sale person. I mentioned the house and shed contents. She was very honest about pricing and gave us 2 different estimates, with and without the tools. Well, you can imagine how the things in my wifes studio affected the price. We talked it over with my husband and decided to sell off the shed contents and just move our furniture and things. It was good for economic reasons, but also it helped to make a decision that we otherwise would have mulled over for months. Well, we are officially in retirement mode and waiting on grand baby number 2 to get here.

We were lucky enough to get this company when my wife and I used our final home of record move from the military. We had a very good experience moving out of Hawaii, so we were definitely thankful that the State to State movers here in NJ with this company were just as awesome!



They sent out four guys to help us load our household goods and took it to their storage unit. They showed up on time, worked very quickly and efficiently, and were very polite at the same time. Swapping stories back and forth really helped the time go by that much faster, yet not interfering with how efficient and serious they were with their work.



Overall, we were definitely impressed by their professional demeanor. If we're ever in need of a moving company again in the future, this will definitely be the company that we turn to! I guess they move a lot of Becky's lol!

This company was very unprofessional. They looked at what I had and told me what it would cost, then 2 hours later, after they started packing, they increased the price by $1000. They also have a lot of small print you should read - like stating that you need to pay in cash or by US Postal Service Money Order or get a 5% fee. They also changed the date of the delivery several times starting 1 day before the move and insisted that since we could not be there to meet them by driving all night that we would be given a fine. They lied about how many cubic feet we had to charge us more. One of the foremen asked me for a tip amounting to 10% of the whole move and was offended when I offered him $20 and would not take it. Unless you want to get ripped off and have your furniture damaged and be majorly inconvenienced then I recommend you choose another moving company.

I am embarrassed to say I have used these guys 6 times in 5 years, but needless to say they are fantastic and never fail to deliver an incredibly smooth and easy moving experience. Each time I ask for the "A" list crew and get the "A Plus" crew. They do not have any bad movers. This time I was moved from the Upstate NY to NYC in 6 hours!!! Granted I do not have that much stuff, but, still it was highly efficient. Truly fantastic, professional and efficient. You will not go wrong with these guys....and no one paid me or offered me any incentive to say this stuff.

I've never moved long distance before, and so I always did my own moves when moving locally. Pennsylvania isn't that far, but I simply didn't have the time to take off of work to take care of loading everything up myself, and driving it slowly out to my new place. With state to state I was able to move my stuff for pretty much the same price as it would have cost me to do it myself. Still, I didn't like having control over the whole move process. I had to put all my trust in state to state and they did not let me down! They loaded everything great, were speedy on delivery, and were organized about payment. Couldn't have done a better job myself!

I loved their awesome service here is why: There are many moving companies to hire/use but I prefer only these guys because they are the best in business. Several months I used this company for an office move and that time I was so impressed that I hired them again 2 weeks ago and this time I hired them for long distance move. As expected state to state delivered the best possible service and charged a very decent amount. Their moving team showed up on time and immediately began the packing (which we couldn’t pack). They finished the remaining portion of packing, managed the loading nicely and delivered all at the other end within the allotted time. They have also displayed the fine execution while unloading the stuff from the truck. I personally checked the inventory and felt really happy to see everything in one piece and without any damage. In the end all went exactly how I wanted.

They are worth your precious bucks; you can trust me on that. State to state is one moving company that gives you real value for your money. I did not get to realise this until I hired them out to help me relocate from Maryland to South Carolina. At first I doubted their capability because the price they charged was relatively small for professional relocation services. I was so wrong in judging them. They did a perfect job that left me with a sense of guilt. I did not have an idea they were that good but at least now I know. Undoubtedly, I will reach out to them when need is in the future.

The foreman his crew showed up on time to move me out of my house and into storage. The process was effortless for me ( and a lot of work for a long distance). I had nothing ready and they provided boxes and packed up and took everything away to storage. 1 month later my items came out of storage and moved into my new place. Both times the movers were professional and beneficent. I would highly recommend to everyone I know and to people I don't know.

BEST MOVING COMPANY EVER!!!! I cannot say enough good things about this company and it's employees. I have made 9 moves in the last 15 years, so I know what I'm talking about! TAKE IT FROM ME - look no further!!!! This is the company you want to hire for your next move!



Starting with Frank the operations manager, who came out to do the estimates - I moved in two different loads, a month apart - to the young men who showed up to help pack after finishing completing their jobs for the day elsewhere, EVERY employee was GREAT! The office handles all calls with a businesslike manner (sadly lacking in today's business world) and politeness. Calls were returned in a timely manner, too.

My experience with state to state all started when I read great things about them. I spoke to a friend that also used them in the past and she had nothing but nice to say. She was so happy for me that I decided to use them. My price was great, never adjusted. My things, great care!

We had a great experience with state to state a prompt visit at my home, Peter gave an estimate which was around half of the price than other movers offer. They tried to work within their mentioned timeline and they succeeded. I received a clear estimate from them, no surprise. They performed the entire move without hassle or any flaws. Most of us know about do’s and don’t of hiring a mover, but the best advice I would give everyone here and I think this might be an outstanding company to work with. Personally I would love to hire them again in my next relocation

This was my first time hiring a moving company, and am I ever glad I picked state to state relocation. It was as easy and fast as can be. First, contacting them for a quote and setting up a moving date and time was very easy -- they were very quick at responding to any questions I had.



On moving day, they arrived right on time, introduced themselves, and got to work. They noted all the things I said were fragile and were careful with them, and packaged up things I hadn't, like the glass from the coffee table, that could break. They also quickly removed all the heavy furniture that I had thought would take a while and packaged it up well for moving as well, which I hadn't even expected them to do.



When we got to my new apartment, they were careful to ask me where I wanted all the items so I didn't need to move them around after.

I used this company on a Friday in Jan this year. It was 20 degrees outside and the 3 men that came were fast and efficient. They moved all my stuff into a 3rd floor building where the only points of access were a 3 story stair case and an elevator that only went to the second floor to lead to a smaller staircase.



I could not believe the work ethic and stamina these guys had. And nothing was broken or scratched at the end of the day.
