Shiny Nails

The days of people being racist/rude to me and me being silent are over. Walked into this nail shop at 10 am place was just opening, a girl came from the back I told her I just had a fill and needed a new nail, and a top coat....guess she didnt like that so she went back to the back never told me who I was waiting for or said much at all. An older non African American woman entered requesting a fill and the same lady took her straight to a seat and said "I'll do it for you know" still no one said a word. I walk out then decide to go back just for kicks and giggles. I asked what was the issue and was asked "what did I want: lol....ok so now I'm directed to a well spoken man to complete my service, after a few words a piece together this is the " angry black people handler " asked for a top coat didnt do what I asked and said..ok it's only $5...so ok I'm a black broke rowdy customer.....certain communities are incapable of letting things go and not judging others for past experiences. This is not my problem and I will post pictures and this review to every outlet possible. Guess I'm gonna have to do my own nails or find a more open minded establishment to give my money to. This place is full of prejudice folks avoid it like a plague.

I love love love shiny nails. The people here are amazing. They're always honest about the wait time. Whether it's five minutes or an hour. There no waiting unless by your own choice. I always get a gel manicure and pedicure. Only $41 for both. I've been doing this for over 2 years and have not been disappointed. Titi hates cuticles, which is great she gives the best manicure/pedicures. I definitely recommend anyone who asks. And that's the only place my family and friends go. Thank you shiny nails!!!

The employees at Shiny Nails, have NO MANNERS. They need to take etiquette classes. They try to force unwanted services and products your way. Do not allow them to manipulate you. They are rude, and they are pushy. After my sister and I got our eyebrows waxed, we went to another shop to get our nails done. Beware, pay for and receive only the services that you want.

the employees at shiny nails were very MANIPULATIVE with there services and performed services that were not requested by myself and my family.

the employees offended my femalw family members and i by CRITICIZING our apperances with comments such as telling us we looked like males.also, after telling the employees the services we wanted, the employees disregarded our wishes by asking one of my family memebers to sit in the pedicure massage chair and proceeeded to give her a pedicure that she did not ask for.the employee emphasized on the apperance of my family member's feet by telling her they were ugly.furthermore the employees had a sign in the window for a discounted full set of nails and after stating that was what we were intersted in, the employee gave a more expensive manicure thus ending in a greatly increased bill.i personally asked the employee who gave me service for a pedicure listed on the price chart which included a plain color coat of polish, the emloyee then, without informing of me of a price increase offered to paint a white tip along with a color.the employees were extremely rude and at one point after i refused to pay for the extra services proceeded without permission to take my atm card from my possession.

THEY NEED TO update there pricing information, and inform customers of the cost of services.
