Rumpke

This company is so annoying. I started using them because of the recycling component. They have so many rules about picking up yard trash. The first pick up day of the month is called Amnesty Day and you can have things outside of the container picked up IF you call ahead AND you tell them the quantity (which is limited). Bundles are restricted to a specific maximum size. I've always thought calling it Amnesty Day was a joke; I've done nothing wrong! It's as if I am working for them instead of the opposite. When they pick up the trash and recycling they just throw the containers back on the property. Very annoying, to say the least.

I signed up for trash removal at my house, in Lexington ky on 9/2/15.

The check cleared on the same day, they did not come to pick up my garbage as of 9/14/15 - they are not friendly on the customer service line.

The garbage cans have not even been delivered to fill up, so we're placing stuff in bags, on the grass and not in a secure container.

I do not recommend rumpke

Rumpke exceeded my expectations. They went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied by making a special visit to my house to pick up a large pile of garbage. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and surprised me with the good deed. Thanks Rumpke, you are the best!!!

Thieves! Was moving so we informed them that they needed to pick up their garbage cans. 1 week later and they still didn't show up. Moving day came and went, still a no show.

2 weeks later they informed us that the trash cans were not there (obviously stolen) and that WE owed THEM $79.00! Unbelievable.

They failed to pick up their cans before we moved so we refused to pay for their screw up.

So they turned it over to a collection agency and now our credit is marred.
