Overall

If I could write a review without giving any stars, I would. Let me start by saying I have not had contracting work done by this company - so I cannot speak on the work they do. This review is merely regarding the unprofessionalism I received when calling their number to report a problem.







For years (the past 3+ years), I have been receiving calls on my cell phone from people in the south GA area requesting contracting services. For the longest time, I have simply told them they have the wrong number and gone about my day. Recently, these calls have been occurring at least once a week so I finally asked someone how they got my number as someone who provides contracting services. They told me Ray's Roofing is giving them my number. Today, I called Ray's Roofing to see if they could update their records and remove my number from their contractors list and spoke with a very rude, defensive, hostile man. He constantly interrupted me while I was trying to explain my concerns and was insistent that the people calling me must have simply dialed my number by mistake. You see, my number is one digit off from his son's (the contractor) number. I could understand if one, or even just a handful of people dialed my number incorrectly...but for years, and recently on a weekly basis?! No. He abruptly hung up on me while I was speaking. I called him back and advised him that I would be filing a complaint an ensured that I would spread the word about how unprofessionaly he handled the situation.







If he would've simply apologized for the inconvenience and said he would check his records to ensure they were up-to-date and make sure his staff was providing correct information, this review would not have been necessary. However, the way he treated me was unacceptable and I feel the need to spread the word about how unprofessional he was.
