Not only did she reformat and install windows 7, she was also able to recover my files i thought i would never see again. Very affordable & highly recommended. Thanks again! ~ Naomi

Overall
Queen B Technologies - A SCAM! Sells illegal Software. Cash only business!

Attempted to sell me illegal Adobe software. Not only was it an illegal attempt, the software did not function.

This is a complaint against Amanda Isbell and a business in Austin, Texas she calls: Queen B Technologies. She scammed me in mid-February 2011 via Craigslist by selling me an Adobe software product that not only did not work but was an illegal sale. I found her listing on Craigslist for Photoshop CS5 (Adobe CS5 Master Suite) for $90.00 "cash only". The price was tempting but sounded so cheap I was worried. In an exchange of several emails, she told me she was a computer professional who had some Adobe CS5 Master Suite licenses "left over" from a corporate job - completely "legitimate", she said. I bit.

She came over to my house and tried to install the software from a portable hard drive. It would not install. So her "fix" was to download the "trial version" from the Adobe website and then use the license serial number to activate the program. Of course it is a huge program and was going to take hours to download. She gave me instructions on how to activate the software, took my money ($100.00 cash - I paid her extra for gas) and she left. The next day I entered the serial number and of course the response from the Adobe serial number screen was that the number was invalid. I tried to contact her via phone, text and email and got no response for a few days and finally an curt email response that said just this: "What are you talking about?"

After doing some serious googling I figured out that she was doing this as a scam to a number of suckers. Some of the "keygen" serial numbers may have worked (but the use of the software would still be illegal) but my serial number did not. This person is NOT a computer professional. In a previous discussion with me, she revealed she had no formal IT/Computer training. She also dropped a hint before she left that she could get me lots of software "cheap."
