Woodpeckers
If you’re in need of bird control for starlings, woodpeckers or any other type of bird in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Pinehurst or the surrounding area...
Starlings
Starlings, identified by their dark coloring spotted with light colored speckles, are the number one bird removal request received by PMi. Starlings are notorious for nesting in bathroom exhaust vent ducts and dryer ducts, entering from the exterior by pecking the louvers that cover your attic fan or dryer exhaust until they can gain access. Once inside the duct, starlings begin nesting, gathering large amounts of straw, pine needles and other materials that prevent air flow. Bathroom ventilation that has been stopped up may cause unpleasant odors, and nests in dryer ducts can be a serious fire hazard.
Not only can high humidity in your living space can cause problems, but the same is true in your crawl space. In this type of environment many things can thrive such as mold, insects and rodents. It can lead to wood decay, musty odors, and poor indoor air quality. Excessive moisture on the underside of your floor system can even cause hardwood floors to start cupping due to expansion of the wood occurring on that one side.

House mice leave 4-toed prints with their front feet and 5-toed prints with their hind feet.

Unlike the nocturnal flying squirrel, grey squirrels are active during daylight hours when most homeowners are away at work or busy with other daytime activities and may go unnoticed for long periods of time.
