Nicola Floor Refinishing, LLC

I wanted to share the great experience we had with Nicola Floors.

My friend, who happens to also be a painter, recommended Nicola to me after seeing his work at some of the jobs he worked at. I got 3 estimates for staining and refinishing the floors in my house. Not only was Nicola the lowest, but his work was far more extensive. He knew what he was talking about, and gave us helpful suggestions. He worked with us on what we wanted- showing us the colors on our floors, working around our schedule, and changing things for us. He installed new wood flooring on our landing, where we previously had pergo.

He worked very hard and filled (many) gaps by hand with wood filler to ensure a smooth finish (see attached photos)—We would come home from work every day and be shocked to see how much he had done. My builder, who was working on another project in my house, was so impressed with Nicola’s attention to detail, that he called me just to tell me what a great job Nicola was doing and asked for his contact information to recommend him to others. After the job was done, I called him for a small spot that had gotten smudged and he came and fixed it.

I won’t forget the Saturday afternoon I went upstairs to find him on his hands and knees in one of the closets sanding the corners in the closet by hand. He told us he would handle the job as if he was doing it in his own house, and he sure did! We are very pleased. Thank you Nicola!
