Mr C's Welding

Took him a valve cover to fill in the oil cap hole. Filled the hole but ground down below the original surface and got weld splatter in the fins. He said " I didn't know you wanted it to look good".
I asked him to fill the oil cap hole. If I didn't care how it looked , I would have put an oil cap in the hole.
OK. So maybe I screwed up by not explaining that I wanted a nice job. But I needed my intake manifold welded. And I explained , in detail. This is the gasket (sealing) surface. Stay inside this hole.
Long story short , my intake manifold has to be resurfaced and I had to buy another valve cover. Cost me more in fixing the damages.
Don't take car parts to this place.
