Mills Surveying

This guy took two months to complete the survey of property and then tried to charge $1,000 more than we had previously agreed upon. I called and called him repeatedly and the couple of times he answered, he never told me that the price was going to be more than previously quoted. He said that he had been really busy so I took two hours off work and went to the courthouse. I pulled all deed information for the property and took it to him in an attempt to help get the survey complete. His incompetence resulted in the loss of our builder and we have still not closed on the property!! I hired a company out of Beeville who completed the work in six days and I had a complete survey in my hand two days after that. They charged me significantly less and the acreage count they got was less than what he had reported. We would have overpaid for the property (as we were paying by the acre) and "bought" land that was sold to the TX DOT.
