Stay away from this company! They are incompetent and have no sense of accountability! I used them to move from the West to the East coast, and I will forever regret this! To begin with, I showed their representative everything I needed to move from my home. I requested that they come and pack on one day, then move me on the next day. This is how my parents' recent move had been handled beautifully by Interstate (sadly, Interstate does not originate moves from the West coast). The agent representative, Dave S., told me that a day of packing wouldn't be necessary; they could handle packing and moving in one day. Thinking he should know his business, I gave in. Big mistake! On the day of my move, I found myself with a pushy, arrogant driver who hurried the packers at every opportunity. The packers ran out of boxes before they had packed all of my belongings! They started filling a wardrobe box meant for hanging clothes with heavy and fragile items that should have been in small boxes. No offer was made to go and get more boxes--the driver wanted to leave. My flight was the next day, but I ran to the Container Store to get more boxes, and then packed them myself. I planned to have friends (or my ex) ship them to me. Fast-forward to the delivery on the East coast. Upon unpacking, I found damaged items and items that I'd told them not to pack (my ex's belongings). If they had only packed what I'd told them to pack (everything was clearly labeled with labels the company's own labels that they had provided me) they would have had enough boxes for my things! To ad insult to injury, the company has ignored my complaints and even tried to charge more than their original estimate! My advice would be to check the Better Business Bureau's website for three names of local companies, then Google each company to look for any customer reviews elsewhere. Then make your move.
