Lucky Em’s Nail Salon

I was there on time. But the owner, the lady said that I had to wait for a man name Tee. I had appointment at 9 o’clock. But she told me no it was for the other girl. I felt like I was just pushed to the side rush but when I got my feet done by Tee, he seem like he knew what he was doing. I’m only going to go back to see him. His work is great, but feeling warm and welcoming was not there.

I went to this salon on 3 seperate occasions. The first time I was told that my wait for my appointment was 15min. I waited a little over 30min. The nail tech didn't seem to know how to create a stiletto nail shape. It took FOREVER to get a remotely decent nail shape for my acrylics. The nails on the left hand were significantly longer than those on the right hand. I figured it was just a bad day. So I went back in hopes of some sort of redemption, WRONG. The nail tech pulled her tools from a pencil case labeled "soiled". Then she also couldn't shape my nails right like the nail tech from the visit before. I gave them 2hours to complete an acrylic fill with gel polish on top and no designs.This usually takes 45min tops with my usual salon in Woodland.) The third time's a charm right? Nope, same issue except I got a whole new set and had the nails short with a slightly rounded-square tip. The nails were very thick and crooked. One side of the nail was rounded while the other side was straight and tapered. (This was the same nail on the same finger of the same hand with two nail shapes). I refuse to get any services done at this nail salon until they hire decent nail technicians. The decor is amazing, you'd think you're stepping into a high end nail salon in Beverly Hills but the decor doesn't speak for the talent (or lack-there-of). If I'm paying $35-$40 per fill every two weeks then I don't think I should have to file my own nails when I get home from the nail salon.. I truly hope to see this place improve.
