        As a mom, preschool teacher and 15-year Florida Keys resident, I realized that vacationing families had nowhere to turn to for safe, reliable childcare. So I created Key West Kid Care! With help from other independently-contracted child care professionals, we provide care for your most precious asset while you have a night out, morning sleep-in, or even an all-day excursion. Our professional staff provide care for your children in the comfort of your hotel room or vacation rental. We come to you and we bring age-appropriate activities - because kids want to have fun on vacation, too! All of our caregivers must go through a serious interview process, reference, criminal background and offender registry check all the way to the federal level. We each have years of active, continual experience (minimum of three years) and take our responsibility very seriously. Key West Kid Care is licensed, insured and ready to meet your family's needs.         Need a night out? Key West Kid Care comes to you! You can be confident that your children are safe and having fun! Schedule us earlier while you dress. All-Day Excursion/Parent's Helpers will accompany you on your excursions, providing more safety and peace of mind. Client is responsible for caregiver's expenses including boarding pass, ticket, parking cost and one meal. Let us create a fun night for your wedding party or other large group with planned activities! "Morning After" Service for those mornings after your parents' night out got away from you! We come to your hotel or vacation rental and care for your children while you rest. 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Short Notice Rate applies. Are you looking for someone during your entire vacation? Give us a call! Full- or part-time nannies available.

        Overall

        We hired this business owner for a quiet dinner out. She arrived 20 minutes late. After a long, hot, busy day of sightseeing, bedtime was to be no later than 8. They "were having such a good time," and she let my 6-yr-old stay up until almost 11! Needless to say, the next day was full of cranky whining. Overpriced like everything in Key West, but horrible service. Absolutely not recommended.
