        OKAY STORE

        i go to jc penny alot w/my friends and family. i mostly visit the store when they have those great sales. you can find some good deals for quality clothes during the good sales they have. i sometimes look at the prices and stumble back but i know you have to pay for quality sometimes so that's not a big deal. all in all is an ok store.

        Shipping is outlandish

        I shop JC Penney a lot. I have for years. But in the last 8 years I have had to shop them online because we don't have one near me. I only gave them 3 stars because they charge really high shipping. For example, my last purchase was an infant dress, a shirt and a sweater. They did not combine shipping but charged me S&H on EACH item individually. For these 3 items shipping was just under $20.00!!!! That is CRAZY. I try and shop when they offer free shipping, however, they have that very limited. If you get something on clearance or their outlet, it doesn't qualify for the free shipping. Good selection, fair prices, but I don't understand why they have to sock it to you for shipping. They shipped those 3 items together by the way!
