Hicks Landscape Service

Contracted Mr. Hicks to build a retaining wall, back fill and lay sod. When asked about warranting his work, Hicks stated he would stand behind work and to contact him if I had any problems. After allowing sod to set and trying to mow, the lawn mower (a push mower) would sink into ground where Hicks laid the sod. I contacted Hicks but he never showed and was never heard from. I finally decided to dig up behind the wall Mr. Hicks constructed to determine why ground was sinking. I discovered that the wall had been back filled with several bags of mulch, along with sticks, rocks, cement blocks, etc. The wall is also leaning and will have to be reconstructed eventually. I would not recommend Hicks for any kind of landscaping or construction work.
