Gigantic Mirrors

I clearly should have read the reviews on this company before ordering. This company, Gigantic Mirrors, is one of the most poorly run in terms of communication and customer service that I have ever dealt with. I ordered a large wall mirror for my home gym over 8 weeks ago via telephone. The ordering process was simple and smooth. I was told I would be contacted several days in advance of the delivery/install date. Well, yesterday we received a call from the delivery driver who informed us that he was on his way to our house but had a blowout in south Georgia. He told my wife he would make the delivery the following day(today) after he was able to get a new tire. He also told her he planned to deliver between 1 pm and 3 pm but would call this morning to confirm. When we had heard nothing by 4 pm this afternoon I called the company to find out what happened. I was informed by a young woman, who CLEARLY did not care the least about our situation, that our order had been cancelled because we had not responded to email or phone confirmations made a week prior! When I informed her that a driver had, in fact, been enroute to our house yesterday from Georgia she said that the driver had made a mistake and that the delivery would need to be rescheduled. To be clear, my wife NEVER received a confirmation phone call from the company and her iPhone records confirm this. Also, I checked our email including SPAM folders and there is no evidence of any confirmation email. When I explained this to the young woman she essentially said it was not her problem and that if I wanted to reschedule for a few weeks from now I could. Needless to say I cancelled my order. I have no idea how a company like this is still in business, but I doubt it will be much longer. I advise, STRONGLY, to steer clear of this company.

Terrible! Rude Unprofessional! They do not advertise what they have on there website and will go off and hand up and not answer! Or Give cancellation of there order!

Ordered 2- 6' x 8' mirrors.... Less than 48 hours later Pete and his crew came, installed the mirrors, gone and left us a great looking wall mirrors! Pete is the ultimate professional and knew what he was doing. I am glad that I was not influenced by the low ratings & bad reviews on here - to me it is obvious that most of these reviewers must not understand how Gigantic Mirror operates to sell them quality mirrors at a very economical prices. I give them 5+ stars. Thank you GM and Pete..

This company is fraudulent and a waste of time. I ordered a mirror for my home gym. They quoted me 4-6 weeks. My gym was done except for the mirror. I anxiously waited. I called at the 6 week mark and they told me that unless someone else in my town ordered a mirror I would be waiting indefinitely. I told them that was not what was promised when I placed my order. They said they would cancel my order and hung up! Rude and unprofessional!

this was the most disappointing experience I have had dealing with any contractor. the installer told us he couldn't put the mirrors flush with the corners, so every edge has a 2 inch gap - although there wasn't an issue butting 2 mirrors together. in addition, we weren't told about the 12" minimum required for outlet cutouts so I had to remove my finished baseboard to accommodate the mirrors. the bare minimum would have been for them to post the installation specs somewhere. Also, the cutouts are not square. the worksite was a mess and the mirrors weren't even cleaned. no matter the price, crap is crap as my wife said. I am now out almost $1200 for a horrible looking gym. sigh.... I guess I shouldn't have tried to be so cheap and should have believed the reviews. We feel cheated and will be looking at options to dispute payment or get a refund.

Horrible customer service and shallow promises. I waited almost five weeks and still did not even have a delivery scheduled on the day of the week that I had specified. When I contacted the company via email and asked to speak with an owner to voice my frustration, I was informed that they would not speak with me and my order was cancelled.

Beware - ordered mirrors last Friday. Was excited to hear after 4 confirmation calls ( from their call center) that they could install. 72x100 mirror this Wed! Unfortunately I wasted the entire day waiting for a No call/ No show. Voice mail at their call center. Was told this AM we would be the 1st stop - after originally being told 9-1pm. Waited again - no call/ no show. Called again - no idea why they hadn't shown, they said 3-7pm again and when I wanted at least a local contact number for the installer they refused and ultimately hung up on me! Guess there is a reason the price seems so good. Terrible waste of time and still no mirror installed. Would give Zero stars if it was an option.

I was so excited when I ordered a mirror from this company because it was for my special stress-relieving in-home yoga space. I paid $95 and the payment came out on 12/27/13. They said it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery. I began to inquire around that time and was told I would be contacted the following week for delivery. When that week went by and then the next and next, I inquired again and again. Their response to my inquiries about when my mirror would be delivered was always "next week."

Forward to mid-MARCH 2014: Then a couple of weeks ago the response changed to "your order fell through the cracks." That was on a Monday. The woman said a delivery was scheduled in my area that Thursday, at which point she said my request of 6pm would be okay. I was so excited that I'd finally have my mirror and could start enjoying my yoga space... Wednesday she called to say that the first appointment had canceled and they needed to move my appt to the early afternoon slot. I explained that I had to work, so she CANCELLED MY DELIVERY APPOINTMENT.:(

Another week went by and never heard a peep. Still I was patient. Now, today(3/19/14)I called and asked for a manager. The woman on the phone came back saying he was busy and my mirror would be delivered "next week"- I asked again to speak with the manager. The manager(David)came to the phone and answered with a clear sound of irritation in his voice. I told him my issue and in a very abrupt and rude fashion, he told me that I would be put on the schedule for "next week." After expressing concern that I was getting another "next week" answer, David crossed over into just plain mean. He said angrily that they will just refund my money-I told him that I want the mirror, but that I just don't understand why I'm being pushed aside/forgotten. That's when he muttered something and then actually, no lie, hung up on me:( I called right back and asked for a refund...which I was told would happen sometime "next week."

I cannot understand why I was treated this way. David is a horrible horrible person.

Thank you Gigantic Mirrors for taking my money and turning my special project into stress that I did not need or deserve.

Ecstatic and satisfied are understatements. I got a 72x100 mirror installed in my home today and could not be happier. This is the second time I have used Gigantic Mirrors and the service just keeps getting better. Not only did I get an AMAZINGLY affordable deal on a huge mirror, I also got second day delivery (they were in my area when I ordered the mirror!) and installation for FREE. All I paid for was an already affordable mirror discounted even more from their website special price. I spent all night and morning hyped up like a kid on Christmas waiting for my mirror to come. Pete and his workers called 1 hour ahead and showed up EXACTLY on time. If fast service, affordable prices, quick contact, punctuality and professionalism were not enough - I got even MORE BLESSED with such a well mannered and courteous crew. Pete is the kind of guy you'd think was a long time family friend. He explained the installation process, got it done within 45 minutes or less, kept the floors and room clean during installation and took the time to show me how to clean the mirror properly and explain it's durability. Trust me, that mirror is happily put on my wall and staying there! Payment was fast and easy and the crew was on their way but Pete's positive energy stayed with me all day. This mirror has a very significant meaning to me. It is part of the process of me pursuing my dream to dance again even though the doctors said I no longer could. Well, God's healing me and I choose to LIVE and DANCE and now thanks to Gigantic Mirrors I can safely relearn to move my body and spot myself when I dance. I will be dancing for Jesus in no time and I thank God that He is restoring me to do so and bringing amazing people like those at Gigantic Mirrors to help support me along the way. This new mirror is a gift I am giving to myself for life and recovery. Never let anyone talk you out of your dreams folks, instead show that dreams are possible and be grateful for everyone who helps you along the way. I am so thankful for Gigantic Mirrors. They are fast, affordable and have the best customer service. Why settle for less when Gigantic Mirrors is the BEST.

The installers were very nice and professional. They did a great job installing the mirrors and they look wonderful thanks guys...

I would GIVE ZERO STARS if that was an option. I hope this helps out customers. I think this company has fake feedback on here just to get their rating up.

I reached out for a quote. I am not in the industry, I own a business.

Their response was from an ipad and written very poor asking what the dimensions were. Specifically " I need the length of the wall". And, they responded to a customer you make no sense so you need to just call in, when I said you sent me and email like this . they put this in the email "?????" with no question followed by you need to call in, and, it is their industry and they don't know to the ceiling isn't in inches? So I responded only to tell them how bad that email and service was, no response. I see here that it was also poor installation. SO based on this, you get bad up front and on the back end service. Do not use them. Find someone who knows customers.

After reading all the reviews I felt like I should write one. I will admit that I did feel like there were some misunderstandings in the beginning between myself and the owner when we were exchanging emails. I repeatedly sent him messages telling him I was interested and while he was quick to respond to my questions, he failed to mention that I needed to call and schedule an appointment. I was responding to an ad on craigslist that had no reference to their website or a contact number so all I had was email. Once he finally realized I was serious, we set up an appointment and I had mirrors within a week. They communicated very well when we scheduled the appointment, and when changes needed to be made, he called and let me know well ahead of time what was going on. Considering they're based out of Missouri, and drive around the country installing mirrors I can understand how scheduling could be challenging. However, I do feel like they did a good job keeping me updated and in the know. The mirrors are perfect. They did a great job installing them, and for over half the price I was quoted by anyone in town. I would recommend! Especially if you want to save money. It's well worth the confusion in the beginning, and since I wasn't in a rush to begin with, everything worked out perfectly for me. Thank You!!! :)

Awesome price!!!! About half of the local glass companies. Not as fast as a local company but they said it would be 2-6 weeks and they delivered. The installers did a great job.

This place had exactly what I needed for my gym at half what everybody else was charging . They said 4-6 weeks on the site , but delivered in 3 weeks , took 30 minutes and nobody tried to upsell me on anything . Real nice guys that installed.

If I could give no star I would. Stay away. This company has absolutely horrible customer service. Terrible attitude and I am disgusted! They have great atitude until they take your deposit, then if you ask them for a tentative date for installing the mirrors they act like you have no right to ask a question. After gettng the run around about giving me a tentative date to plan for installig the mirrors. The owner said " Go get your mirrors somewhere else I am extremely happy to refund you your money and sorry for ruining my life. ". I responded that I didnt want a refund, I just want to know a date when the mirrors would be intalled and he said again , go get your mirrors somewhere else.. When I called to find out if my refund was processed I was told that He cut me a check an sent it the installation address. I told them that is not where my refund should have gone since I paid online, I needed it to be personally sent to my home address.The woman said "It's not there problem, I knew I was getting a refund I should have given them the correct information, I started to explain that I didn't cancel this order, she cut me off to tell me she doesn't care and doesn't want to hear it....................Now I had to delay my grand opening and find someone else short 700 dollars am praying am able to get me refund.

Great experience!!!! I contacted the company and they explained that they will be able to come out to St. Louis once they had a couple of jobs. The woman explained that it might take up to 5-6 weeks. I was just looking to install a mirror for a home gym, so the wait was not a problem. Especially since they were on average 1/2 the price of anyone else I called. They called me to tell me they could be here in less than a week. Two guys came to my house were very friendly and pleasant. They were in an out within an hour and did a great job. I would recommend them to my mother if she needed a wall size mirror!!!!

This is the worth company i ever worked with!!!! I wanted to order mirrors for my dance studio and placed my order about 4 weeks in advanced, and i was told that everything will be done on time. Three weeks later i called the company to find out about my installation day, lady on the phone couldn't even give me a date. I was trying to explain that i can not wait anymore because i have an opening next week, so she just told me that is nothing they can do about it and i just have to wait till the end of the week. 5 minuets later i checked my e mail box....and i found money refund for my order and my order cancellation. They just cancelled it.... i called back. General manager told me that they wont be able to finish my order and she can just refund me money and cancel my order if she likes. I asked about how can they do that with out my permission and manager just answer me with an attitude:"Oh trust me. i can!! If you want to spik with anybody else it is nobody above me" what is a great service!!!! So i had to fix my problem in one week before opening!!!!! I would not recommend this company to anybody!!!! Don't waist your time!!! And now i understand why it was cheaper then other companies!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
