Gene's Paving & Sealing

I had the same experience as another reviewer on this site. Gene came out and gave me a quote. I tried to hire him, but he never calls back. After 4 unreturned calls, I have decided to go else where. If Gene's Paving is that unresponsive before I have paid him, I can only imagine how they treat customers once they have been paid.

Agreed to a price with company to put in a driveway at my home along with a tenative date.Called to change date as was expected and have yet to hear back from Gene. Called four times and have left messages for him to call back he has yet to return a call and it has been 2 months since first call. Finding someone else to do driveway, Gene must be too busy to return calls!

Excellent company to do business with. The work was completed in one day and was great. The estimate was comparable to others received, but offered more. The owner returned calls promptly and work was done when promised. The crew was very hardworking and did not waste time.

We signed a contract and put a deposit down in July for our driveway to be paved. It was November and our driveway was still not done. Upon calling "Genes Paving" I always got an excuse as to why he hadn't shown up yet. Gene told me each time I called him.. in a couple weeks... Once November came and Gene could still not give us a confirmed date of when the driveway would be done I called another paving company and the driveway was done in a week of my initial phone call. I and my husband have both asked for our deposit back and it still has not been returned.. again Gene, always has an excuse such as this one. "my mother is on vacation and is responsible for writing the checks, I'll get it out to you as soon as she gets back" We still haven't received our deposit and we will be filing charges.
