Fence Masters

Over the phone, Lance made an appointment with me later in the week. That day he called to announce he would not be keeping our appointment due to the "inviability" of my neighborhood. I asked for clarification of this confusing statement. He said that our neighborhood is not one in which he would install his product. Surprised, I asked him if he feared for his safety. Scoffing at the thought, he denied this. It then dawned on me that he was refusing to take a look because of the perceived economic status of my neighbors. Unabashedly, this man confirmed that if I lived in a neighborhood populated with half million dollar homes he could be bothered to take the time to meet with me but, given the demographics of our area, he would not waste his energy because, clearly, I could not afford his product.



Thank goodness he did not swollow his biggotry and deign to meet with me or I might have accidentally given him my business! The one positive remark I can make is that at least he honestly revealed his discriminatory practices up front.



In many years of working on rehab projects and engaging with a large number of Contractors from across this country, I have never had the misfortune of encountering such a prig as this. It will be my pleasure, from this day forward, to mention his lordly attitude and exclusionary practices whenever possible.

Do not use this company, they state that "they build the best and repair the rest"; however that is not true. In 2007 Fence Masters built me a four rail fence, 7 years later the posts are all rotted out. He came out, looked at the fence and said that he would work with me to get it fixed. He left and has not returned any of my calls, his business address is a empty lot. So I would stay as far away from this company as possible! JP 7/24/2015
