I was very pleased with my order. For my mother's birthday, I ordered two bouquets of flowers for my mum. She loved the arrangements and thought that they were lovely and beautifully done! Staff was fantastic from when I ordered up until I called them to clarify my order. I was also expecting to pay more but I was surprised with how affordable their prices are!

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that has any floral needs.

I called them at 4 PM (EST) on Christmas Eve and asked them to deliver a Get Well fruit basket to my daughter that just got out of the hospital. I spoke to George who was very helpful and understanding. He said they would call her before they delivered it and it would be there within 2 hours . I live in Louisiana. This was the best Christmas Present he could have given us.

I ordered an arrangement for delivery the Saturday before Mother's Day. I received a call within half an hour stating that they would not be able to make the delivery until Monday. Then they called me on Monday at 5:55 am PT and told me they were out of violets and would be sending a different arrangement (carnations no doubt). When I expressed my displeasure with not getting what I ordered, the man on the phone began to lecture me; "what do you expect....should have ordered a week earlier...etc." I'm sorry, I guess I'm old fashioned, I believe in something called 'customer service.' I might have been inclined to be more understanding had the tone on either phone call been apologetic but on both phone calls the man on the other end acted like he was very put out by my business. Needless to say I won't be bothering him anymore.

I got a call from these guys one morning, telling me they were going to deliver a fruit/gift basket to me in about an hour. My mom had arranged it from across the country as a surprise for my birthday. Unfortunately I was on my way out the door to the airport and wouldn't be home to receive it. No problem, they said. They asked me when I was returning from my trip, and said they would deliver it then. The day after I returned from my trip (3 weeks later) I got another call from them, and they delivered the basket as promised. It was a beautiful gift basket, well-packed and piled high and overflowing with perfectly ripe fruit. They were completely professional on the phone and in person, and I will definitely use them the next time I order some flowers. Thanks!

I ordered a bouquet for my Husbands Family after his grandfather passed. I told them I wanted it to be tasteful yet beautiful. The staff was so friendly and patient with my requests. The bouquet was fabulous!!!! And so affordable! I will get all of my floral arrangements here from now on. I highly recommend them.

I was just delivered my Halloween baskets from Ditmar Flower Shop and I must say that it is absolutely gorgeous! I am having a Halloween party tonight and ordered 4 baskets to decorate my home. I ordered an orchid from Ditmars Flowers for a relative's 90 year old birthday (Dec. 2007) and the florist not only picked a beautiful bloom but also had it wonderfully arranged. The birthday lady was exceedingly pleased. The florist was both patient in helping me select a flower and they were also very prompt in having it ready for pickup. The best part was they had the best price - at least 10% less than other neighborhood florists and about $20 less than anything in Manhattan.

For another occasion I bought an Azalea plant, the less common pink variety. The plant had both blooms and buds and despite being in an apartment, it lasted almost a month. Mr. Abel also explained how I could give the plant, after it finished blooming, for someone to plant outdoors. Very helpful , good quality, and very good prices.



A mistake I made at first was to confuse this little store with the big one at the intersection of 31 St. & Ditmars. This lovely store is located next to a Church.
