Great service! Fast response! Called the office to have my oven serviced. I got an appointment the very next day. The technichian came to my home fixed my oven. Excellent technichian and office staff.

Would never recommend this company and will discourage anyone else from using them. Very dishonest. Needed an igniter in my gas stove replaced. Was told that you had to replace all four, cannot replace just one. Just found out a neighbor in my building had the same problem and her cost was a third of what I paid Dave's She had one igniter replaced. I called GE to find out why all of mine was replaced and a neighbor with the same stove had one replaced. (cost of part $23.00) They said that it is not necessary to replace all, just the defective one. It took less than 10 minutes to replace the part. For the price they charged me, I could have bought a new range

They came out to house and said that it was a compressor. Would cost $1100 and they came out over eight times to try and fix the freezer and they could never fix it and then they refused to refund the money after three weeks of trying to get them to fix it. It seemed that they didn't really know what they were doing. Stay away from these folks.

The worst experience ever! Called to have our gas stove repaired. Was told the part would need to be rebuilt and should be ready in a week. A week goes by...no call, another week goes by...still no call. I called every day looking for an update to when it would be fixed. I have an autistic child who only eats certain foods.....and having to get take out all the time to feed him was getting a bit played out. An ENTIRE month later, they call and schedule the tech to come out....and he does.....and CAN'T fix it! Then they want to refund me by check....(I paid with my credit card). They in turn, refund me less $159 for a service call, which was never specified on my work order. If it couldn't be fixed, they should have told me that a month a go and I would have just bought a new stove. This place is a scam! Office manager is condescending and has to check "with Dave" for everything..... This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. If I ran by business like this, I would be OUT OF BUSINESS.

Avoid this people! They have an anger issue and intimidating. They charged us $200 for a $80 part! When we asked them why you charged us twice they started to shout out and take our dishwasher out and fight with us! We wanted to call 911 to prevent any trouble at our house. We still are shaking from yesterday experience. Also, I have to let all of you know, this is a family company. When we called their office to complain about the situation, a very rude lady, who we found out is Dave's daughter ( sister of the service guy) acted like a gangster. They don't have a real boss. They are just a liars. I think most of the good reviews have written by their own company. DO NOT believe them.

Very expensive. Was a nice guy and did a good job, but don't think I would use again because of the price.

I would highly recommend you calling Dave's Appliances when you need someone to work on your freezer or any other appliance you have. I called Dave's just to try them out and i was very shocked and was very pleased with them. My freezor had stopped working and everything inside was about to spoil when i called him. He told me that he would be there right away. He showed up in no time and fixed my problem right away. He was very nice and i had no problems after he fixed my freezor. Im so glad i called him!

Dave is the Best in Philly!! My Ice machine was making strange noises and not dropping any ice! I called Dave's and spoke to the receptionist and got an appointment for the next day! He came and fixed my ice machine with no problem and even gave me some advice for the next time! He was very kind and had a good personality which made it even better service! Highly recommend to anyone who has any problems with an appliance!
