Dan Lovell Photography

My brother and his longtime finance finally "tied the knot" this winter in CT, and lucky for them they were able to book Dan Lovell as their photographer. I have never really put much thought behind how important the right wedding photographer is until viewing Dan Lovells work. With being at that age in life, I seem to be surrounded by weddings, and have seen a lot of wedding photos which has left me with the impression that wedding albums are suppose to come out cheesy looking. Dan Lovells work proved that theory wrong. He did such a fantastic job, not only did the finish product of the album turn out to be very professional, but he was able to highlight those genuine moments of the day while being a pleasure to be around. Being a bridesmaid, our memory capture moments with Dan started when the bride was getting dress for her big day. Within that first hour, the bride's party figured out it was going to be a long day of photo taking and posing. As soon as Dan sensed it he was able to lighten up the mood, and worked with us to prevent those forcing a smile for the camera moments. He was by the wedding party's side throughout the whole process and by the end of the night, his go with the flow attitude helped us drop our "poses" which is probably why he was able to capture genuine moments, natural photos and portray a clear representation of the special day through his work. I recommend him to all my friends that are in the wedding planning process, and without question I will be booking him for my wedding.
