Custom Chimney has maintained our fireplaces since we moved here 33 years ago. Mr. Morson always arrives on time, works efficiently and is honest about anything he sees as a problem. He also was instrumental is re-directing our dryer vent to bring it up to code and performs maintenance every year. We highly recommend him.

I've used Custom Chimney for 20 years. Every year Jimmy does an amazing job cleaning the chimney, checking for issues, and reminds me how to best use my fireplace so it will last longer. About 6 years ago, he told us that the insert and shoot would need to be replaced in a year. Every year he checks it, and every year he assures us that we are still good. He told us how much it would cost to replace it all so we've saved the money. Due to his yearly cleanings and his suggestions on how to burn better, we've yet to have replaced any parts. Tell me what company would do that....they'd usually take your money right then.

I would give Jimmy and Custom Chimney Sweeping a 10+. He and his staff were courteous and the quality of work was superb. They cleaned the chimney, painted it, and installed gas logs. They also replaced the chimney pan which was rusted. I wish I had more work for them!!!

Jimmy is the most professional, hardworking, and kindest business owner I've ever met. We've used him for the past five years since we purchased our house. We had a gas starting fireplace with gas logs when we moved in, but wanted to switch to wood burning. Jimmy thoroughly inspected and cleaned our chimney in our new home and did a great job switching our fireplace to wood-ready. I simply can't recommend highly enough.



In addition,(be sure your kids are reading this) when he came to our house today, he asked me and my 3 year old son to come watch as he emptied the soot that he had swept. As he opened the flue, Santa's driver's license and a piece of Santa's pocket fell down into our fireplace! My son's face was one of both astonishment and wonder. My son also followed him around almost the entire time he was here with a million curious questions. Jimmy was so patient, funny, and kind with him. To say it in a word...Jimmy is the BEST!

Jimmy showed up on time and provided the most thorough inspection and service than I had ever gotten from anyone else! All points of interests/findings, he showed them to me to help explain my situation. He cleaned the coils and found an ongoing problem of which the previous 3 service providers simply did not tell me about. In addition, I had Jimmy service my dryer vent (glad I did !)

They called and confirmed my appointment and I didn't have to wait all day!!!



He cleaned my dryer vent (which now dries in less time) and chimney (with a camera scan). He also serviced my HVAC and gave me advice that saved us having to replace the outside unit (Dog urine eating away the coils). He is very detailed and again HONEST!!! It was 100 degree out and my air was not working right, 90 in the house. Called Custom Heat and Air, did not think I would get anyone one out on a weekend!! Jimmy, the owner came out Sun. the day after I called and got things running. Honest! showed up when he said he would. Would use him again!!
